Spin-off title for surprise hit dance game series aimed at children.

Ubisoft has announced that in addition to Just Dance 2, the sequel to the surprise hit Just Dance, they will be releasing a spin-off title called Just Dance Kids. Due in November of this year, Just Dance Kids will feature over 40 dance moves created by professional choreographers and lead by kids. Ubisoft's U.S. Director of Marketing, Adam Novickas expressed that Just Dance Kids will be "a great way for the family to interact together and learn new dance routines, in addition to providing a great form of exercise."

The full soundtrack has yet to be revealed, though three songs were confirmed: "Holiday", "Naturally", and "One Time".

Wait, Ubisoft's whole marketing for the Just Dance games is that the controls are designed so that anyone from 8 to 80 could do the moves (the choreographer for Just Dance 2 even mentioned this in a video they made about the contest for consumers to get to be in the game). The only difference I could imagine is making the dancing models kids, and focusing on just kid-friendly songs/

they still need motion camera support so that(not only the game but) people can see themselves dancing badly.

I see that Ubisoft has truly learned from Activision's example in destroying the music-based video game industry with endless Guitar Hero iterations.

I think the designers would like that too. The lead choreographer for the second game talked about how they had to based the moves around the Wii Remote itself, they couldn't have any moves where your hand is just remaining still for too long since the game can't track you any other way. If they would add in support for the camera they made for Your Shape featuring Jenny McCarthy, then they could add more moves.

They forgot to spell "Kids" with a z.
