Square Enix Announces New WiiWare Game

Two versions of the game will be released.

Square Enix has announced a new WiiWare title called Kumanage. The game takes place in a fantasy world inside of a mysterious picture book hidden inside of an old mansion. Kumanage is described as being a puzzle game in which you "Paper Bears" with the Wii Remote in order to solve puzzles.

There will be two versions of Kumanage, featuring different playable characters. Players will play as a boy named Kiina to protect the blue crystals in the title "Kumanage: The Blue Gem that Kiina Hates -- Battle Version", while "Kumanage: The Red Candy that Piina Likes -- Puzzle Version" will feature the little girl Piina collecting red candy.

Kumanage will be released in Japan on June 8, and will be priced at 1000 Wii Points ($10.00). A teaser site for the game is live, confirming that the game has received a ESRB rating (E for Everyone), indicating a future North America release.
