The official site for Xenoblade has been updated with new details, including character biographies and new artwork.
The newly revealed characters in the game were shown in Famitsu last week, and the official site matched these biographies with artwork. The biographies were translated by Andriasang.
Shulk is the main character of the game, and is an orphan. In the revealed artwork, he’s shown holding a book, suggesting that he may be a big fan of literature. In the story, Shulk and his friends set out to defeat the Kishin troops who attacked his village. The biography reveals his race to be Homs, age to be 18, and his height to be approximately 5'6". In the game, he is voiced by Shintaro Asanuma.

The next new character is Fiorun, the heroine. She takes care of the other characters, and is Shulk’s childhood friend, and Dunban’s sister. Her race is also Homs, she is 18 years old, and her height is approximately 5'2". In the game, she is voiced by Eri Nakao.

The final new character revealed on the official site is Dunban, a hero of the Homs people. He was injured in battle a year before the start of the game and now is healing. His race is Homs, he is 30 years old, and he is 5'10". In the game, he is voiced by Ryo Horikawa.

The characters that were revealed in Famitsu but have not yet been updated on the official site, are Dickson, a friend of Dunbar’s from the war who acts as a parent to Shulk, and Mumuca, Dunban’s rival who fought him for the right to use a legendary sword called Monado.
Xenoblade is set for release in Japan on June 10, 2010. The title has been confirmed for a North American launch, but no details have been revealed as of yet.
