Nintendo has unveiled eight new items for their Club Nintendo rewards program in Japan.

Recently, Nintendo added eight new rewards to their Club Nintendo program in Japan. The items feature designs of various Nintendo characters, and are similar to other promotional rewards that Nintendo has released in the past.

Kirby_disc

The first item is the Kirby Flying Disc, which is made out of nylon and sponge and has Kirby's face prominently displayed. Safe for gamers of all ages, the disc is available for 350 Club Nintendo points.

AC_magnets

The next item is a set of Animal Crossing Magnet Clips. The set contains five different magnets, with each magnet featuring a design of a character from the series. The Animal Crossing Magnet Clip set is available for 300 Club Nintendo points.

LOZ_posters

The Legend of Zelda Poster Set contains 3 different posters. The Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass posters are the same ones that Nintendo used as in-store promotional posters to advertise the game. The final poster is a History of Link, which shows the different art designs used for Link throughout the Legend of Zelda series. The Legend of Zelda Poster Set is available for 250 Club Nintendo points.

AC_storage

The Animal Crossing Storage Box is decorated with the faces of various characters featured in Animal Crossing: City Folk. It is perfect for storing your various Wii peripherals. The storage box is made out of cardboard and assembly is required. The Animal Crossing Storage Box is available for 250 Club Nintendo points.

Pen_case

The Original Pen Case is great for storing pens and other writing utensils. The cases also feature a Mario design on the lining and zipper fastener. The Original Pen Case is available for 200 Points in red or dark blue.

MLRPG_OST

The Mario & Luigi Sound Selections CD is a compilation of 33 songs from the Mario & Luigi RPG series. 18 songs are from Mario & Luigi RPG 3, 9 songs are from Mario & Luigi RPG (GBA), and 6 are from Mario & Luigi RPG 2x2 (DS). The CD is available for 400 Points. As a special offer that lasts until September 30 if you have registered your copy of Mario & Luigi 3 you will be able to pick it up for 250 points instead of the usual 400.

DSi_covers

The Nintendo DSi Cover is a case that is designed to store and protect your DSi. It is available for 200 points and comes in orange, beige, and navy.

DS_game_case

The last new reward is the DS Card Case. The case can store up to eighteen DS game cards and is roughly the size of a standard DS game retail box. It is available for 150 Club Nintendo points.

I hope we get awesome stuff like this in North America!

I wonder who we're going to have to bribe or extort to finally start getting those awesome exclusive soundtrack CDs over here in Club Nintendo.  Yeah, I like owning legal, official CD soundtracks for my games rather than stuff I don't want like posters and game covers.

Here in Europe I've just decided to save up for the SMG soundtrack. It's 3850 stars though and star income is pretty low. I think it's about equivalent to 750 coins without the option to declare that you'll buy a game before you do.

These prices are pretty cheap compared to NOA Club Nintendo.  The Japan DS game case is 150 points; the closest equivalent in America is 600 points.  The DSi case is 200 points; the American DS Lite case is 400 points.

Are points harder to come by in Japan or are we just getting screwed?

I imagine corners are cut differently due to shipping costs.

That Animal Crossing box is cool looking, and I want it. I'm still manly.
