The lovable middle-aged fairy from The Legend of Zelda series will star in a DSiWare title and a retail DS title.
The latest issue of Famitsu revealed that Tingle, the weird Legend of Zelda character, will have two new games based around him, including one of which is already out now.
That one is a DSiWare game called Too Much Tingle Pack. It released for the service last week in Japan and is priced at 500 Nintendo Points. Too Much Tingle Pack is a tool title that consists of five different devices: fortune telling, a coin flipper, a calculator, a marionette that dances in front of pictures, and a timer.
The second game will be a retail DS title called Color Changing Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love, in which the main goal is to help find the fairy man a girlfriend. No gameplay details were shown.
There are currently no plans to release either title outside of Japan.
Strangely enough, this is not the first time Tingle has received his own game. In 2006, a DS title called Freshly Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland was released in Japan. The title was localized for Europe in 2007, but never saw release in the United States.
