Harrison Ford's other famous character will appear in Lucasarts' upcoming game Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings.

According to a trailer on the official Star Wars website, it was revealed that everyone's favorite scruffy-looking nerf herder, Han Solo, will be playable in the upcoming Lucasarts game Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings. Both characters are played by actor Harrison Ford.

At this point, Han Solo appears to be nothing more than a palette swap, as the trailer shows him wielding the same weapons as Indiana Jones.

That's cool.

Even better if you got a blaster as well.

That makes absolutely no sense within the context of the game.

Yet I can't help but love it.

If you were referring to my blaster comment making no sense I was thinking that the blaster could replace Indy's revolver. LucasArts seems really fond of pulling these Solo/Indy crossovers. They did it in The Complete Lego Star Wars game too.

No, I was referring to Han Solo appearing in Indiana Jones. They aren't even going to try and explain that one because it isn't possible. They just wanted to create an epic moment with Han Solo using a whip.

It isn't his fault he's not in the game.  They told him they fixed it!

Yeah right, next you're gonna tell me there's no Santa Claus.

Unless Han Solo falls in a time warp or something, I can't imagine the logic of this storyling wise since Star Wars is supposed to have happened a long time ago and far away (I am not trying to quote it).

This will probably help sell a few more copies of the game, so I understand why LucasArts are doing it.

I'm sure it's just a "costume" for Indy. No time-travel explanation required.

StratosMay 17, 2009

Nah! It's going to have a buddy cop movie story staring Harrison Ford in both of the lead roles arguing with himself.
