Game Releases and DLC from April 12 to April 18

This week only has four game releases that include the long-awaited Samurai Shodown Anthology and two DS games from Atlus. Steely Dan and Guns N' Roses appear on the DLC for GH:WT and Rock Band 2, respectively.

Sorry for the two week hiatus! A lot has changed since then. I (Neal Ronaghan) am now News Editor and with my newfound power, I've gotten new staffers Lukasz Balicki and Pedro Hernandez to help me out with this article from week to week. So give a hand to them!

That being said, this is a really lame week with just four releases. Wii sees the belated releases of two games, Majesco's Escape the Museum, which was originally slated for February, and SNK's Samurai Shodown Anthology, which may or may not have come out last week, but we're not quite sure.

On DS, we have two games from Atlus in Dokapon Journey and The Dark Spire. One is a cross between an RPG and a board game and the other is an old-school RPG.

Keeping up with the trend of weekly downloadable content, Guitar Hero: World Tour brings three Steely Dan songs to the table while Rock Band 2 sees the release of the rest of Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy" (The song "Shackler's Revenge" appeared on the Rock Band 2 disc).

Next week could very well be renamed EXCITE week due to the release of Nintendo's ExciteBots: Trick Racing.

Hooray for Samurai Showdown Anthology!

I never played Dokapon Kingdom on the Wii, but now that I wrote the description I am looking forward to it.

Dokapon is very good if you have someone to play it with.

Dokapon is evil. That is all I have to say. Evil and hardcore.

Oh hey, is that Escape from the Museum? Sweet! Can't wait till my reserved copy comes in!

It is funny I got my mom and her BF to play and they started to really enjoy it even though they are the very definition of casual.
