Electronic Arts recently announced the release of two new MySims games, one for Wii and one for DS. Both titled MySims Kingdom, the new games revolve around King Roland and his subjects as they try to revitalize the Kingdom.

The Wii version spans multiple mystical lands as the player must rebuild the Kingdom alongside King Roland, Princess Butter, Buddy, and Lyndsay. Players interact with the world by herding pigs, chopping wood, finding treasure, and more, gaining new materials all the while. Then they build up and customize their surroundings, providing new buildings, furniture, plants, and more to the people around them.

The DS version takes place in a distant land where Mayor Ellen, with the player's help, rebuilds the one-time vacation paradise and get King Roland to visit again. In addition to completing activities like kayaking and tennis, players are given the job of capturing essences and mixing them together to unlock new items and structures used to rebuild the land.

The story begins in The Capital, where players first meet King Roland, Princess Butter and companions Buddy and Lyndsay. An adventure throughout the kingdom follows. New characters, new lands and clever new contraptions will be revealed. Players will enhance their surroundings by constructing everything from bridges and houses to gardens and gates. Through newly added activities, players are better able to accomplish the tasks they are challenged with along the way, including herding pigs, chopping wood, mining stone, finding treasure chests and more! Thwart the plans of evil and revive a distant land of the Kingdom. Mayor Ellen needs your help to entice King Roland back to his vacation paradise!
