Talkback

vuduJuly 10, 2007

The Good: That's a long song list
The Bad: There's only like four good songs on it.
The Ugly: Jackson 5 are responsible for half of them.

ShyGuyJuly 10, 2007

I have to ask, what are the other two songs on your good list Vudu?

I'm guessing Girls just wanna have fun and Walking on Sunshine.

nickmitchJuly 10, 2007

I'd like to point out that there are THREE Jackson 5 songs on there.

LuigiHannJuly 10, 2007

I think that's a pretty decent list, considering the game's premise. Not objectively great songs, but the sort of goofy fun songs one would expect for a game about dancing.

TJ SpykeJuly 10, 2007

Most of those are pretty good, and I have actually heard of all the artist (unlike some music games that pick artists that are super obscure).

Well I'm going to skip this game. This is definitely a game for the female market. I will be picking up GH3 and DDR.

darknight06July 10, 2007

That songlist looks quite good. I may actually consider it if for some reason DDR's songlist turns out to be complete crap.

Oh, but where's "You're the one that I want" from that grease trailer they did? I'd be really sad if they left out that song because it'd be PERFECT!!!

Infernal MonkeyJuly 10, 2007

Walking on Sunshine alone makes this game a worthy purchase.

I think vudu meant that two of the Jackson songs are half of the four songs he finds decent on the list.

Yeah, DDR.... there's a manly game with a manly song list. ??

CericJuly 11, 2007

I'm sort of surprised they don't have "rocking pneumonia and the boogie woogie flu" (I can't think of the name of the actual song.)

Did you ever happen to watch any of the trailers and interviews? Because in the trailers they show alot more of females having fun than the males, and in one of the interviews they actually said that this game is geared towards the female market. I am not saying this song list isn't good (it's not great either), it's just something I wouldn't sing, I would hum to them but that's not the purpose of this game now is it. Anyway that's my view.
