Kororinpa: Marble Mania and Wing Island are releasing March 20th, and Honeycomb Beat follows seven days later.

In a surprise announcement, Hudson revealed that their two Wii games, Kororinpa: Marble Mania and Wing Island are launching ahead of schedule, on Tuesday, March 20th. Honeycomb Beat for Nintendo DS releases on Tuesday, March 27th.

In Marble Mania, players tilt the Wii remote to guide balls through mazes, much like the classic Labyrinth game. Players can race in a two-player mode through more than 40 stages.

Wing Island lets players take control of aircraft using the Wii remote. The game features a mission-based story mode as well as two-player split screen.

Finally, Honeycomb beat is a puzzle game based on "Lights On" where players tap each tile in an attempt to activate the entire board. The game includes two styles of play and features techno music.

All three games are budget priced. Marble Mania and Wing Island are priced at $39.99 and Honeycomb Beat will cost $19.99. Nintendo World Report will be reviewing these games shortly, so stay tuned.

I'll be all over Kororinpa and at the same time avoid Wing Island like the plague... =3

Smash_BrotherMarch 14, 2007

Wing is getting trashed pretty badly, thus far.

I think this is what Reggie meant by telling 3rd parties to not use their "4th string dev teams".

Bill AurionMarch 14, 2007

Well to be fair, Hudson doesn't really have a "1st string" team... =(

(Besides, their best team is already working on a Wii game: Go Mario Party!)

Have you guys played the flash version of honeycomb beat? It's a pretty challenging puzzler.

ShyGuyMarch 14, 2007

I don't understand why Hudson doesn't use Master Hudson or Bonk more often.

KDR_11kMarch 14, 2007

Probably because noone remembers those.

Bonk: Act Zero... *shudders*
