This game doesn't sound all that fabulous.

RocketDarknessSeptember 27, 2006

Ah, the first of hopefully many games I will write code for. =)

Ideally, future games will be more well-received.

RocketDarkness, this press release doesn't tell me much. Can you give me an insider's description of what this game plays like and what makes it unique? My ears perked up as soon as I read of your involvement, convince me to buy this!

Where are you, 18 Days? VGRevolution? face-icon-small-tongue.gif

Hmm, let's see. You play as Addie (obviously), and it's a relatively straightforward "adventure" game where you go through the plot, occassionally playing minigames. The game sadly has no battery save, so it's password-based.

I'm not sure how much information I can give out, exactly. But if you have any questions, ask; and I'll try to answer them as best I can.

"Adventure" game, or today's action-adventure type "adventure" game?

Also, can you describe the tv show it's based on briefly?

Wow... a password game in this day and age... I'm gonna put that down as a plus!

Adventure game as in it's plot-based. You move between areas like Addie's house and school, and you follow the plot through. In other words, you move from point A to point B, trigger plot/minigame, repeat.

TV Show: No clue, never seen it.

Hmmm.... HMMMMMMM.... HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I was actually thinking of trying to program a "make your own adventure" adventure plot-driven game as a side project outside of school... so I'll put that down as another plus for this game!

Now... I'd have to buy it online... but where...

Can you give us the address of the game designer? I want to make sure natural selection selects against those who opt for password saves on a handheld game.

RocketDarknessSeptember 27, 2006

Don't blame us. The developers aren't responsible for deciding which cartridge to use; that's the publisher's job.

I am eagerly awaiting Pryo's review.

KDR_11kSeptember 28, 2006

I thought Deg is responsible for these?

SvevanEvan Burchfield, Staff AlumnusSeptember 30, 2006

Who cares who's responsible so long as THE PEOPLE KNOW.

Because that was an era from which Nick didn't suck. See: Are You Afraid of the DArk, Rocko, Ren and Stimpy, Roundhouse, All That , Legend of the Hidden Temple, Doug, must I go on? Once Spongebob moved in? Everything went downhill....

I'm surprised at all the interest generated for this game by just a mere press release. Let's shock THQ by going out en masse on Monday and BUYING EVERY COPY WE CAN FIND. They would be so surprised they may just, like, I don't know...keep releasing this crap? Probably.
