Hop online and get yours now!

4 Color Rebellion has discovered a nice little gift from Nintendo in Animal Crossing Wild World. Fans who log on to Nintendo WiFi Connection can receive a letter and present from Nintendo's president, Satoru Iwata. To get the present follow these simple steps.

  1. Go talk to Copper and tell him you want to sign on to Nintendo WFC.

  2. When you're signed in, quit out of the friends town list and go back to your mailbox.

  3. Inside should be a letter from Mr. Iwata along with a present.

Oh man I wish I had a DS right now. I love Animal Crossing. There just are not the right DS colors out for me(NES style baby!).

Remember to have downloads turned on!

Yeah, I got mine eariler today while I was at work (mind you, I hadn't logged on since last night...)

Neat-o!

The cool thing is, when you interact with it, it does EXACTLY what you hoped it would! face-icon-small-happy.gif

Now I want the rest of the set though. face-icon-small-sad.gif

Will Miyamoto give us a present too? What would Reggie give us?

NOBODY IS EVER ONRINE

Reggie would come to our towns, take all our stuff and leave.

More like everyone knows you are coming and signs off right away...Noone wants to be associated with "KnowsNothing, Crasher of Towns"... =)

I got the rest of them. face-icon-small-smile.gif Some hacker guy apparently remembered me from when I was active on the GameFAQs boards, and so was more than willing to give them to me since he was already duping them for everyone else on GameFAQs.

There's over 20 items, I think. Most are unbuyable. Only a few of those show up in the catalogue, and one of those catalogueable isn't buyable. Is there a way to put spoilers within spoilers? Some of the items are pretty cool...this first officially released one is nice, but most of the rest are just plain awesome. As awesome as an item can get in AC:WW, anyway.

Anyone want to tell me what the present is?

It's a giant coin, made in the style of the 8-bit ones seen in Super Mario Bros. The awesome thing is that it makes the coin sound effect whenever it's touched.

Haha cool another feature you can only get with online. I can't wait for Revolution games where you won't be able to do anything at all in single player.

So everyone got the coin then? I was wondering if each person got a random one from the set...

UncleBobRichard Cook, Guest ContributorJanuary 17, 2006

I'm glad they didn't... It'd be a pain to collect them all then. And when the next letter gets sent out, some of us unlucky fools would probably get the same item again and again. face-icon-small-wink.gif

Not necessarily.

When I was making Snowmen, I noticed that I wouldn't get repeats until I got them all, despite the fact that my brother made a couple and I bought a Snowman item from someone else. Perhaps it uses the catalogue to track what you have or don't have to prevent doubles until you had them all if they wanted to.

Sure, this particular item isn't in the catalogue, but it be just as easy to track.

ToruresuJanuary 23, 2006

I've tried and tried and I can't get my letter!

Help?

GoldenPhoenixJanuary 23, 2006

Sadly I tried the same thing and nothing, after which I discovered that it is no longer available. So I don't know how either of us are going to get the present!
