Perfect for that incredibly dull trip down the Yellow Brick Road.

Not to be outdone by Nintendo of Japan's recently quiet announcement of a Red Nintendo DS, Nintendo Australia has quietly revealed that they will be releasing a limited edition Game Boy Advance SP to coincide with the release of Pokemon Emerald for Game Boy Advance.

A few department store catalogues for this week have also been advertising this special Game Boy Advance. The pack includes an Emerald Green Game Boy Advance SP, a battery charger, and a copy of Pokemon Emerald for Game Boy Advance.

Artwork for the system's box can be found by clicking here.

"DS? What?" - NAL employee

Infernal MonkeyJune 09, 2005

I like how NAL decide to focus on GBA the instant DS comes out and sells a boat load.

RABicleJune 09, 2005

You like that? I hate that! I hate YOU! And I hate NAL. And this lousy green GBA. And the way they are rolling out the red carpet just because Pokemon got the obligatory milking semi sequel. Hate life too.

Sounds like whining RABicle.

Thats a pretty rad color, wish it was on my DS though.

Yeah, I agree - the colour itself is pretty spiffy. It's a shame it's not tarted up with an embossed Pokemon or something similar, though.

Wasn't there already a green SP for Pokemon Leaf Green?

vuduJune 10, 2005

That was green. This is emerald.

KDR_11kJune 11, 2005

It's not shiny so it's not emerald.

It looked pretty shiny to me when I saw a kid playing with one just outside Big W at the QV yesterday.
