The second in Nintendo's party game series is coming out in North America on December 20.
Mario Party 2 is coming to Virtual Console in North America on December 20, according to Nintendo of America's Twitter.

This tower defense game is based around protecting an incubator from attackers.
INKUB, a tower defense game from Spanish developer Cosmonaut Games, is hitting WiiWare in North America on December 20.
The game, available for 500 Wii Points, is all about protecting an incubator from attackers. Using different weapons, players must switch between two different areas of the incubator by shaking the Wii Remote.

A North American demo for the Cosmonaut Games WiiWare title will come soon.
A demo version of Dive: The Medes Island Secret is coming to the European Wii Shop this Friday, according to Cosmonaut Games.
In the coming weeks, the demo will also be released in North America.
The demo includes one full level of the game, and you'll be able to buy upgrades and gain achievments.

The Street Fighter IV team is focusing heavily on the upcoming 3DS version now that the arcade version has launched.
Street Fighter Producer Yoshinori Ono said on the Super Street Fighter IV developer blog that the team is focusing its efforts on Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, which is set for release on the Nintendo 3DS, according to Andriasang.
Up until recently, the staff had been working on Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, which recently came out in Japan.

A new Nintendo DS demo for Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is available for download from the Nintendo Channel.
This demo uses the same characters as a level shown at E3, but it has been cut down to be shorter much simpler so as to demonstrate some of Sissel's abilities without giving away too much of the real level.

D3 Publisher's first 3DS title is Dream Trigger 3D.
D3 Publisher announced Dream Trigger 3D, an arcade shooter for Nintendo 3DS. The original title will have players using sonar to detect sound and expose colorful enemies, which then explode into 3D patterns when hit.
The game will have over 50 stages set to a dynamic soundtrack that changes as players move through the layered environment, dodging attacks and destroying enemies in arcade action.

Mario, Pokemon, Mario, Kamen Rider and more Mario rule last week's sales charts.
Despite the one-million-plus debut of Capcom's Monster Hunter Portable 3rd for the PSP, several Nintendo titles appeared at the top ten of Japan's Media Create sales charts. At third place was Mario Sports Mix for the Wii, which sold 59,007 units for a total of 143,991 copies sold since its debut on November 25.

Final Fantasy creator and Last Story director will present the game to the world at the end of the month.
Nintendo has announced that they will be hosting a special presentation of the "The Last Story" called "The Last Story Presentation: Seeking a New RPG". The presentation will be hosted by Last Story director and Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi as he details the game's battle engine, story and setting.

Fans will be able to experience the second of Mario's parties as well as Hydroventure, just in time for Christmas.
Announced for Japan in November, Nintendo of Europe has announced that Mario Party 2, released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000, will be available on the European Virtual Console service on December 24, 2010 for 1000 Wii Points ($10).
In addition to the classic Mario title, the Nintendo-published WiiWare title, Fluidity, known in Europe as Hydroventure, will be released along with its demo.

Kirby, Mario and Donkey Kong are the stars of Nintendo's lineup.
Nintendo revealed their lineup of games for Jump Festa 2010, consisting of Mario Sports Mix, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Kirby's Epic Yarn. All three games are already out in Japan.
Jump Festa will take place next weekend on December 18 and 19, and will feature other exhibitors such as Square-Enix.

A musical racing game and a zombie-killing Little Red Riding Hood are the highlights of this week's update.
Seven new games have been added this week to Nintendo's downloadable game services, three for WiiWare, one for Virtual Console and three for DSiWare. To kick off the week, gaijin games released lilt line, a musical racing game where players guide a line through a series of notes in order to create a full tune. The full game has been priced at 500 Wii Points ($5), while the demo version is available for download free of charge.

Level-5 is expecting their Studio Ghlibi collaboration to perform well at retail in Japan.
Level-5 announced that the initial shipment to Japanese stores for the Nintendo DS game Ni no Kuni is around 600,000 units in total.
The fantasy RPG comes with a magical book that is used while playing the game to look up spells and monsters. The game, which is released in Japan on December 9, is the first game where the animation company Studio Ghlibi have been involved with development.

Bonuses are again the highest in Japan, despite financial losses for the preceeding half-year.
Nintendo's employees in Japan are set to receive a winter bonus of 1,453,703 yen (roughly $17,000).
This is slightly more than the 2009 bonus of 1,453,206 yen, reported then as the largest bonus among Japanese companies that year. These lofty figures are surprising considering the company posted their first loss in seven years for the first-half fiscal term that ended in September.
