C&VG is reporting that GameBoy Advance is officially confirmed for Spaceworld, but they seem to think there will be no Dolphin. We think otherwise.
Real shocker here folks, but GBA is officially confirmed to be at Spaceworld. Seeing is the GBA technology has been out for quite a while, and developers working with development kits. This Computers and Videogames article seems to say Nintendo will not show Dolphin at Spaceworld this year. We here at PlanetN2000 (at least I do) think that they are fools and don't know what they are talking about. Nintendo never delays anything. Cough...

"Computers and Video Games" derails GameFan's Rare story.
Our story from Gamefan yesterday, is supposedly bogus according to C&VG. To be quite honest folks, the only people that really know what's going on is Shiggy and a few people at the big N. Nintendo has got Spaceworld and Dolphin information very very hidden. And anyone that knows anything has a gun to their heads to keep their pie hole shut.

GameFan has aquired a preliminary list of titles that Rare is expected to show at Spaceworld 2000!
More for the rumor/speculation pile today. After Rarenet Dan's Rare happenins' across the pond, Gamefan online has acquired a preliminary list of titles (for the both the N64 and Dolphin) that Rare's expected to show at Spaceworld 2000. There are two Dolphin titles on this list. The one actually known game is Mickey's 3D Adventure. The other title is unknown at this time. Could it be Killer Instinct 3?

Would you be a beta tester for NOJ? It pays 9 bucks an hour! And they pay for your travel expenses! Er, I doubt that is for us out of country people. Oh well.
Would you be a beta tester for NOJ? It pays 9 bucks an hour! And they pay for your travel expenses! Er, I doubt that is for us out of country people. Oh well. Core Magazine believes it's for GBA testing. I think Nintendo is forcing people to play nauseating amounts of PS2 games until they are "jaggied" to death. Cough. Here's the meat.

An anonymous tip from a Forum reader clued us in on a new cartridge-looking design patent awarded to Nintendo.
An annonymous tip from one of our Forum readers clued me in on a new design patent awarded to Nintendo for what appears to be a cartridge of some kind for the N64. The Design Patent number is D427,245. I don't know what this is, at first glance it appears that it could be some sort of a lock-on cartridge, but upon further examination, this no longer seems to be possible.

Quantum talks to the companies about selling their wares.
Nintendo seem to actively support the concept of writability when it comes to videogames, as seen with the Japan only 64-DD (even thoguh its a failure). Some say that Nintendo's decision to go with DVD with Project Dolphin was to avoid the mistakes they made in their past and to regain it's third... Read more...

Head on over to Rarenet and read the journals of the man himself, Dan, and his journeys in Rare's homeland, England. Kit's? Maybe we should say kits...
And no I'm not referring to the lovable car from the spectacular 80's series, Knight Rider, I'm referring to the development kind. You know, the things companies like Capcom, Konami, and even Nintendo use to create their games. Well there has been much speculation as to whether or not developers out... Read more...

Check out this great Camelot interview from Core Magazine!
If you didn't know, one of the games in 2000 I'm looking forward to is Mario Tennis. Camelot has made only a few games for N64/GBC, and every game I have played of theirs has been a favorite of mine. To put it lightly...Camelot gives me wood.
Currently Camelot is finishing up Mario Tennis as... Read more...

Shiggy's getting pretty talkative lately. Well, this is a little leftover from E3, but it's good stuff none-the-less. The latest edition of Game Informer (July 2000) has an E3 recap (Hell, I thought ours was late), in which they interviewed a lot of developers. Of course, you can't forget Shiggy.... Read more...

Yeah baby! I'm back. Well, at least for now. The format went over pretty well, but there was one unfortunate loss. I lost my entire ICQ user list. Right down the crapper. So, if you have me on your ICQ List, could you send me a message ASAP so I can put you back on my list? If you forgot, my ICQ # is 5422815.
