Make money and fall in love with bachelors!

I had a chance to play both the DS and 3DS versions of the newly announced game, Fab Style. Aside from quality of presentations, I noticed no difference between the two.

The game puts you in control of a female student at a fashion school and the rookie owner of a boutique. As a shop owner, you naturally help customers: judging from what they are saying, their taste, and stock of your shop, you need to suggest an item for her. The customer then either likes or dislikes it. I could not find any remarkable difference between this part of the game and that of Wagamama Fashion Girls’ Mode. Categories of items such as innerwears, and skirts, what the customer does and says after she tried on a recommended item, and even representations of items are very similar.

What makes this game different from Girls’ Mode resides in other parts of the game. The most significant feature seems to be love affairs. You will meet many bachelors voiced by popular voice actors, and how you are intimate with each of them is represented by a statistic. Depending on it, your relationship may develop into a romance. For example, you have a male friend from childhood. He is, needless to say, handsome, and extremely rich. One day, he told you that if the sales figures of your shop exceed to three million yen, he will take you for a dinner. The shop owner herself also has some parameters: sales ability, intelligence, and attractiveness. They are increased by mini games, and other events.

Your friend from childhood.

Being a heterosexual guy, I can hardly guess how appealing this game will be to girls, but this game might attract them in combination with the new misty pink 3DS model.
