The only GameCube title playable at ECTS, incidentally winning the ECTS award for "Best Console Game of Show".
The game starts off in the theme park. A day is being spent there with the aid of Woody Woodpecker. Running around a little will take you to a shoot out against a computer gunman. The control stick moves the cursor and you have to race to shoot the most targets.
A second game is the "Back To The Future" racer. The graphics on the track aren't too bad and there is variation in width and obstacles in your path. Controls weren't very easy, rather slippery.
The demo seemed to end with the two games. After that all that could be done was run around. There was space for eight rides on a card which was stamped when you went on a one. The timer counting down presumably would inform you that a new game could be accessed. The environment for the full game changes as the day goes on.
I wasn't too impressed with this title, it was nothing compared to those on show at TNS. Around the theme park your character would turn rather pixellated as you ran into the distance, at times it was difficult to spot where your character was. Of course, speaking to Woody Woodpecker in Japanese in no way helps you to understand the game, this could be another factor made it seem so disappointing.
Load times were also disheartening; they were the longest I've seen for a GameCube game. The fact that this seemingly rather untidy demo was considered the best console game at the show doesn't say much for the games at ECTS this year.
