A trio of NES games have dropped into the Nintendo Classics library for Switch Online subscribers tonight, with a new developer added to the fold.
- Ikari Warriors (1987) is an early SNK release for the NES and is a 2-player co-op overhead shooter based on SNK's "Ikari" arcade game. The arcade version is available in the Arcade Archives on both Switch and Switch 2 via backwards compatibility, but this is the first time the home version has been re-released.
- Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom (1991) is the final game in the 8 bit hack-and-slash platformer trilogy from Tecmo, with development led by future RPG stalwart Masato Kato. It was previously re-released on Wii and 3DS Virtual Console, as well as a release in the Console Archives line for Switch 2 in late April.
- RC Pro-Am II (1992) is a four player-compatible racing game developed by Rare (with a David Wise soundtrack) that expanded the gameplay of the 1988 original and 1991 Game Boy game.
