It's hard to believe that the Pokémon franchise is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. It seems like just yesterday that I was battling my way through Pokémon Blue, watching the TV series, and collecting, trading, and playing the Pokémon TCG. Since the launch of the series the Pokémon universe has expanded several times and managed to become a global phenomenon.
