This WayForward-developed Metroidvania game promises a vast variety of locations, puzzles, and boss battles.

Game Mill Entertainment announced Hotel Transylvania to the Nintendo DS and 3DS for a September 18 release for $29.99.

The 2D platformer, developed by WayForward, will be released slightly before its big screen counter part, Hotel Transylvania, the animated movie which it is based on.

WayForward Technologies are the creative minds behind games such as Shantae: Risky's Revenge, Aliens: Infestation, and Contra 4. The game's style appears to be in the same vein as the 2D DS Castlevania titles.

Considering this is a WayForward game, the art style represented in these screenshots is just bad.
I got hooked on the white stuff back in the 70s.

Wayforward? Hmmm... might want...

I have to confess, Shin'en and Wayforward and 5th Cell are all companies I enjoy immensely blind-purchasing games from on Nintendo handhelds.

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.
