The latest game in the Call of Duty series, Call of Duty: Black Ops, is also coming to DS, according to IGN.

Developed by n-Space, who worked on the past three Call of Duty DS titles and are also working on GoldenEye DS as well, Black Ops boasts tons of new features, including a new two-player co-op mode, a Perks System in online multiplayer, and a new button-focused control scheme.

The single-player campaign will be focused on CIA-backed operatives and is a complementary story to the home console versions as opposed to a retelling. It will also feature Arcade and Challenge modes that aim to encourage replay of previously completed missions. The new co-op mode will be a completely unique experience, but the developer didn't have much to say on it right now.

The multiplayer will be refined, though specifics will be revealed later. There will be an online Perks System modeled after the home console versions, a first for the DS.

A new control scheme, called Button Control, is going to be added as well, which lets players play the game with just the handheld's buttons instead of the touch screen and stylus like the previous games. There will also be a lot more control customization in general.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is set for a November 9 release.
