Maybe a new kind of "game" needs a new kind of "coverage".

One of our devout readers has pointed us to Puppy Times, a special blog set up by a group of gamers to share their Nintendogs stories.  The unique new DS game (or non-game, if you prefer) was just released in Japan, and PGC is expecting an import copy very soon.  Of course, we'll be working on a full import review (and arguing amongst ourselves how such an unusual game can even be reviewed fairly), but for a more casual take on coverage for the game, Puppy Times may fit the bill.  Its authors share stories about what their cute, virtual puppies do each day.  They have also assembled various news bits relating to the game, such as weekly Japanese sales figures showing which version of the game is most popular.
