Hey, at least you got an arcade with DDR! >=O

it's kinda funny how arguments on which state is WORSE pops up.  I suppose if you can't be first, last is the next best thing in terms of recognition.

EDIT:  well, you did a search that found some DDR machines in my state.  but do I have the effort to find them?  no.  SO THERE.

Once when I visited Rhode Island I went to a tiny mom and pop's pizza shop and
they had a mint condition Donkey Kong arcade game and Popeye.  Also Providence
has some arcade where you pay a fee at the door and the games are free or something.
Maybe that'll make up for the DDR thing.

Well, my permanent home is in Palos Verdes.  You can see a location REALLY close to my house near the end of Hot Shots: Part Deux, where (if memory serves) the president is fighting with Saddam.  I haven't seen the movie in too long, so I might be a little off on the circumstances of the scene.

Was born in VA, the moved to Conn, then moved to California, then to Maine, then to good old Batavia, New York.  We are famous for nothing at all.  But we have a zillion pizza places(yes, a zillion) and lots of tastey wings.  I  love the food, but the weather sucks.  Soon I shall be attending UB, and there my area will be famous for wings, yay.  Mmmm...wings...  I see pale zero is from Buffalo, interesting, you go to many shows over there?

Oh yeah, a few DDR machines around here too.

HOLY CRAP

Where was this Donkey Kong?!  I hope it's not far away, because I'd love to go to a place where the mix pizza with mint gorillas. ^_^
And this arcade you speak of, I have NO idea what you're talking about. My dad used to manage "the arcade" but it wasn't a real gaming arcade.......it was more like a crappy mall. =\  Other than that we have a Dave and Buster's, but I've never played there.  I don't like 'power cards.'  And since this is providence (which does have many awesome resturaunts) the admission on entry of this arcade will be some outrageous price that you wouldn't spend half of in quarters.

I still want to go there though. ^_^

Hmm I don't know where it was because I was just on vacation there
a long time ago.  It was along a road right by the beach, and there was
a large arcade nearby.  Sorry lol, but if my friend remembers I'll get back to you
on that (he should know since it was his family and I was with them).
Yea it's Dave & Busters, I remember my friend saying that name
and that you just paid at the door and then it was free.  If that's not
the case I'm sorry for getting you excited.  I'm just stating what I was told.
Good luck

Well, you pay for a card and you get so many games that you can play before you have to "recharge" your card.  They're pretty expensive, i think.

I get excited over everything. =p  Besides, I knew even if it wasn't D&B's I'd prolly still never go.  And evern IF the pizza place is relatively near me, summoning enough energy to get off my ass and go would be hard and i'd prolly never make it.  So don't go crazy looking for the loactation of the DK place ( but I'd still like to know =p).

Well, I'm international really.

My background includes Egypt, Canada and the Middle of Nowhere.

Egypt is famous for its pyramids.
Canada is famous for its maple syrup.
Middle of Nowhere is famous for the best hotel in the world, not like anybody knows about it though.

White Salmon, Washington.  That is across the Columbia River from Hood River, Oregon, which is 60 miles East of Portland, Oregon.

I reside in Washington *Microsoft, NOA, supporters of Evanescence before they got big* and live in Oregon *No Sales Tax, "Bandits", "Goonies", "Ring 2", the Spruce Goose, and some of the best windsurfing (so I hear)*.

I will be trying to post here more often, for as currently my greatest track record of posting was in refference to the contest.  I've been around here for a while, and had an account even on the old boards.  I've read 80-90 percent of the posts here, and keep up on the news daily.  I'm a high school senior with a year of college done.  Howdy all.

I am from Jersey, and although people bust on it, we have some very famous people and events from here.    Jack Nicholson, Bruce Willis, John Travolta, Frank Sinatra, Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci, Jason Biggs, Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Naughty by Nature, Redman, Fuel, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Abbott and Costello,  Kevin Spacey, Jerry Lewis, Judy Blume, David Copperfield, Lauryn Hill, Ice T , Whitney Houston, Meryl Streep, Dave Thomas(Wendys), Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein,  Woodrow Wilson, Grover Cleveland, The first brewery, the first boardwalk, and about a hundred other things/people I cannot recall.

I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Known for being the home of the Guess Who and Neil Young, who's former hockey team owns the NHL record for most consecutive games without a win (32). I was at the game when that streak ended, Doug Smail scored to beat the Colorada Rockies (not avalanche).
I now live in Toronto and Sarnia (have houses in each, spend similar amounts of time at each).
Toronto is known for arrogant hockey fans who will never win a stanly cup (GO FLYERS GO) and some of the worst drivers on the planet. Sarnia is known for its chemical valley, where nearly anything you can think of thats toxic is made.

"the worst drivers on the planet."

I'm sorry, no. That dubious honor belongs to Egypt.

How to drive in Egypt:

1) Don't bother with brakes. Brakes are for wusses.
2) Start ignition.
3) Start horn. Don't let it go until you reach your destination.
4) Roll down window for more convenient sticking of head outside and swearing.
5) Floor it.

"Toronto is known for arrogant hockey fans who will never win a stanly cup (GO FLYERS GO)"

Damn straight.  When the Leafs played against the Canucks in Vancouver earlier this season all these Leaf fans showed up and BOOED THE CANUCKS.  These Vancouver residents actually booed their home team in favour of a team from Toronto, which is by far the most unpopular eastern city in the eyes of most BC residents.  So naturally I'm hoping Philly creams their sorry asses.

I think it's funny that the Leafs are known for not winning the Stanley Cup when in fact the only team to have one more cups is the Montreal Canadiens.
