Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce that I started playing Metroid Prime on Friday.

*Waits for applause and some of the boos to quiet down*

And, ummm, I've got to say, so this the game everyone is raving about? Because words can't describe what I think of the game so far.  Metroid Prime is absolutely stunning (yeah, I know everyone has been saying that since Nov. last year).  It is blowing me away, and I don't mean just graphically.  I can't put the controller down and the gameplay is so much fun (although I do find there is a bit too much scanning and reading to do).  I can't believe Nintendo and Retro Studios pulled this off.

yes! YES! exactly it IS awsome! and for someone whos played super metroid it feels even more amazing! where are you upto?

..
.....

i should really finnish it *shakes fist at pile of games that need playing* and to prove im even more of an idiot, i just started playing a PC RPG called Arcanum of Steamworks and Magick obscura. its loosely set in the 1800's its very deep and completely non linear (sp?) right from the very begining you can do what you want! i was particularly proud of something i did the first time i played it, some guy in a store who was selling clothes (yes what you wear effects peoples reaction to you) and he was being a right jerk, so later on when i noticed he had left the store i broke in and stole all his stuff i had suits and dresses coming out my ears which i sold for quite a pretty.... gold.. piece.. its not too graphically stunning, but very rewarding none the same. not that i have finnished it *shakes fist again* why cant the day have atleast .. 40 hours in it :\

Hooray for AiAi finally playing Metroid Prime.
I still believe the fight with Ridley is the best in the game.
Frustration and amazement get!

Nitsu, that game sounds a bit like what you can get up to in Morrowind!?!

Burnout 2 is getting all my time at the moment. Custom Cars ahoy!

Oh my, how I hated that fight with Ridley. It sure didn't help the GC decided to freeze up right as the death cut scene started the first time >=/

My GC's getting no love at the moment. Juggling Grandia II and Silent Hill 3 which I hired today. I'm in love with SH3. I want to have its babies. Or something.

It's the most disturbing game I've ever witnessed. There's a mutated naked woman monster in there WITH AN UNCUT PENIS FOR A HEAD. Nothing can ever top that. NOTHING.

There's also mega annoying dogs. Much like the mutant dogs in RE, but these have had their head split down the middle, and they use their deformed head to latch onto you. Gah.

Oh, oh, oh. There's really fat dudes in there as well, so fat they're at bursting point, the blood drips from their stretched, thin skin. When you kill them, they deflate and all their organs pour out. Nice.

i told my lil bro he had to buy burnout 2 if he saw it anywhere, and, to cut a short story even shorter, joeyjojo is owning it up in burnout 2 at the momo. whoa, weve got 26 gc games now. like, a few weeks ago we had about 20. ive hardly touched beach spikers. although, in my opinion, it doesnt deserve to be touched. i only played multiplayer, but the gameplay didnt exactly grab me. it felt a little bit "run to where the balls about to land, press any button and hope for the best".

Hmm, SH3 babies?
*insert the worst mental picture ever*

As for Heather, I'd understand that!

And really fat dude. Why not just combat them with the Subway diet?
"Oh no! I'm outta footlongs! Help!"

I saw the Bruce Lee special tonight on SBS in between Hitler. I had no idea about him apart from the fact he was a martial arts guy. It was very cool. That's why I've updated my sig for the first time in however long it's been. And I might update my avatar! Meh.

If you want more of that non-linear, fantasy gaming, check it out. Another reason why there's not enough hours in a day!

The question is not where Termin8 is, but where is oohhboy's sister?
Apart from that, i dunno.

sorry, no tricks this year. I'm too scared to jump! I've only been snowboarding for two years (and by two years i mean only three days each year).
My cousin has been doing it for 8 years.....I'll put up a pic of him jumping, then crashing. Funny Sh*t.

btw, that half pipe at Perisher is looking mighty fine.......I'll be on that thing in around three years.

15 gamecube games, 1 finished (2 if you count Zelda bonus)
14 GBA games, 8 finished.

Golden Sun 2 is awesome too, it shouldn't scare you though.

Termin8:  I remember you saying something about snowboarding.  How stoopid am I?  I forgot though.  And that animated GIF was v. Funny.

Shifty: Hmmm, I don't know I just ordered Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic yesterday and that comes out tomorrow so I don't have time for yet another game, let along KotOR and then Morrowwind on top of that.  I have way more games unfinished than actually finished.

I finally have 2 count that 2 XBox games and I have had my XBox for over a year now.  If Star Wars games is crap then my XBox has been a total waste of money.  Will I even be alive when Fable finally comes out ?  "Hmm, I don't know."

TWO games on Xbox! =O
You should invest in a copy of Jet Grind Radio Future, nitsu. It's the only game I got enjoyment from on the Xbox

Bart: A coupon book, what the hell am I meant to do with this?.... Here you go Dad, Happy Birthday!
Homer: Wow! A coupon book! OOOHH, two pizzas for the price of one at doughies!
Lisa: Doughies makes terrible pizza!
Homer: Yeah, but there's two!

... I can't resist quoting the Simpsons in every possible situation

And hurray for SCII in September. It's a far cry from its original slated release (May 2004) =/

Well now it's gonna be three because I just preordered Fable today.  *so what if it comes out in 2004, so does Star Ocean 3 and Tales of Symphonia, preorder to reserve* I at one time was considering geting Jet Grind on Dreamcast because it was cheap, but then my short attention span focused on something else, and now I don't have the time for anymore games.  I'm also not going to buy anymore games because I am spending too much.

Keep up the Simpson's quoting, Simpson's rule!

I dunno. This is PIAC we're talking about!

And I'd rather wait for Jedi Knight 3 over KOTOR, partly because it's not only on XBAWX.
So they finally gave Fable a 'release date' eh? I wonder how long the delays will be?

Here's my Simpsons Quote for the Day:

nitsujdark - get JSRF on xbawx.  I love JGR on the DC and play it all the time.  Did my constant bragging about how awesome Grandia was prompted you to get the game?  I hope you enjoy it, just don't read my signature!

For these wondering where I am up to on Metroid Prime: Recently got the Ice Beam.  That was 2 days ago.

Oh, am I the only one that remembered that Termin8 was going to the snow?  What did I win?
