Good to know. I have a couple other questions.
I am working through the battle mode achievements and there are some for getting takedowns with the various power ups. How do you take someone down with the decoy power up?
Also, I heard on a podcast there is a way to make your ship go faster but I can't find that in the settings?

Hey M.K. I see your invite, tried to join but it said the network might be unstable. I invited you instead to see if there are any changes.

For the Decoy, the enemy has to be near the decoy as it will explode after a few seconds. If someone is chasing you hopefully they are close. Otherwise use the decoy as you run into an enemy head on. To them it would look like you are flying straight at them without shooting as if you were a novice, newer people bite.

You can make the ship go faster in private lobbies. I tried it and honestly it’s way too fast. I was really looking forward to it but it’s not that everything is hard to handle, it all just looks so unnatural, everything is sped up. I wish the Arwings and Wolfens moved a little faster than standard but the speed up option again is not satisfying to look at nor does it feel satisfying in the hands. Try a bot battle, you’ll see. If they add a new mode/objective with that speed in mind I might change my mind. I’d prefer they split the difference in speed gained.

If I just not engage the next match or stall out every 20 minutes, it means I’m running to my smoker to turn the ribs.

It sounds like I will have to really try and get takedowns with the decoy, at least you only need 5. I still haven't gotten the mine one yet either  I wish I could see overall stats a little better, I know I have between 20 and 50 wins but not sure exactly.
I wasn't sure how the friend invites work so I sent one and then didn't wait. Then I went in some matchmaking and didn't get your invites until I closed the game out. I checked the settings and I am supposed to get those notifications in game so I am not sure what happened. I will keep trying if I see you online.

So if you get an invite you will see a notification like when a friend gets online. Go to your Home menu, check your profile and you’ll see invites. Pick the invite from there. When you send the invite I believe you gotta wait for people to join your lobby before starting a match. So I usually send an invite and wait couple minutes before I start a match again. You’ll see your in game friend list lobby light up.

Where are you checking these battle mode objectives? I didn’t know this was a thing.

Okay, I think I get the friends multiplayer now.

The achievements I was referring to come up as "awards" after the match where you earn them but are really just unlocks for the banner and medals. When you go to edit your banner you can see the requirement for ones you have yet to unlock. Once they are unlocked you can't see that anymore, but the order/organization of them allows you to usually figure it out.
