Sorry, I don't know where to find them.  They're kinda old.  There's a slim chance someone at 'TMK' might know:

I know of a very good source of dozens of old Nintendo commercials.  But the page seems to be taken offline from the site right now.  Its over at www.gcadvanced.com.

There is this site that had all the trailers and commercials you could have imagined. Even the ones on the NES, but I can't seem to remember the link anymore. Sorry, if I ever find it, I'll let you know.

Hmmm, where's Berto2K when you need him. He'll know for sure. It was this site with a yellow/black background that had hundreds of American, Japanese and European commercials. That's where I got that funny Super Smash Bros. and the first Legend of Zelda commercial.

Hey guys.  Sorry I haven't been around as much.  If you look a few posts up you will find where i been doing a lot of work as of late.  I'll stop there for risk of getting banned.  If ya got certain commercials you looking for ask for em.  I'll see what I can do.

Well, at 'classicgaming.com' I found 1 mario party 2 commercial but it was not exactly the right one. The first ever mario party commercial had mario having a big party and gets arrested by police (Or something like that, it's been a while so I don't fully remember). I am not sure if there are other commercials for mario party 2 & 3 with the actual person in a suit as mario. Classicgaming.com had a commercial, but without the guy in the suit as mario, so I am not sure if there is even one. But the original mario party one is the only one I know exists. Its just that when is has mario in it, it is quite halarious - Like the mp4+mp5 commercials. I beleive Super Mario Advance 2 had the same thing. I hope I have made most of what I am trying to say clear, if you need more details, I'm always here.

Was the Mario Advance 2 commercial the one with 'live' Luigi standing out with his arms wide and his crotch in the air?  That was awesome.

Well, you got some part right, he was on the edge of this rock spreading his arms wide holding a yellow flag like thing through the windy air, but I don't remember (or see - I have just watched the video) anything to do with the crotch part.

I can partially explain what you're seeing:

1)  This video (commercial) had its field lines blended and not accurately deinterlaced, so all visual motion is thus blurred and lacks clear detail.  (Unacceptable!)

2)  00:06sec into the clip, the stem of the Blue Pikmin does cause surface ripples.

3)  00:08sec into the clip, a Blue Pikmin unit enters the water.  Because this is a high-motion scene, image(frame) detail drops dramatically ON TOP OF the blur issues mentioned above.  If you look closely, a bubbly splash of water is kicked up into the air when they break the surface, AND there is a whole mess of ripples following behind them.  It's just that the style of the water surface combined with the video quailty shortcomings make the ripples difficult to notice.

Anyone know where to find that new Gameboy Advance commercial?  I saw it, I think, on MTV while channel flipping.  Guy with what appears to be a mullet starts playing his Gameboy, everything goes into a cool art format, Who are you? comes up in stylistic letters. . . shows some clips from Metroid: Zero Mission, though there may be alternate versions with different games.  Very cool commercial.  I'll look around some, too, but just wanting others to know about maybe help look.

Hostile Creation: Go here if you want to download that commercial. It's the one titled "Freeboy", click on it on the left side of the page. And yes, it is a great commercial.

GCA also have those commercials, in WMV format.

Aww professional, you changed the res of it.  It is native 720x480.  I could give a link to all of those trailers, but they are huge in file size.

You're wrong about that.  There are some Nintendo commercials I haven't seen, but of all the ones I have, there is not one I do not like (and believe me, I am very critical about my commercials.  Death penalty should be enforced against those that make crap commercials).  Some are less than brilliant (Mario Party commercial), but others are just plain awesome, and are some of my favorite commercials ever (Metroid Prime commercial, 180 games commercial from a while back, Freeboy, etc.).  The only one I can recall disliking is the first Zelda commercial, but that makes up for its crappiness with nostalgia.

Yes, indeed it's natively 720x480 *ON DVD*, but that's for *NTSC TV FORMAT* where we tend not to see the 16+ or so vertical lines that lie in both the extreme left and right of the frame image -- it's needless overscan (unless you're watching an anamorphic widescreen movie, in which case just about every pixel needs to be shown).  What I did (and always tend to do) was crop off the vertical black bars on the sides to present the video in its native [640,4xx] resolution that *the majority of GameCube games process at*.  So, the (DivX-endcoded) game image displays at its native resolution, and at the same time is nicely formatted to the general 4:3 aspect ratio we view on our on PC monitors.  No need to waste encoding bits/pixel on empty black bars.
