Dave Gettleman is either insane or trying to get fired.
I'm kind of a snarky bastard.

AB dropped from 2 teams in less than 3 weeks into the season..... NFL career over?

this is amid multiple sexual abuse allegations.

Since he played for the Pats, how much do they still need to pay him?
and how does this affect your Fantasy League? LOL

Apparently AB quit the NFL....  or they quit on him.

Either way, it looks like he had a melt-down on Twitter (most of the related tweets I saw have already been deleted).

So Is AB gonna star in the XFL? or will he be playing in Prison League?

I guess that depends on how his case goes.  That guy sure had one hell of a summer.

And I get the point he was trying to make, but most of the people he named piped down for a bit after their accusations.  They didn't go creating more public spectacle.

Around 3 minutes left.  Down by 4.  Defense can't get a stop to save their lives.  I say to my brother "this has got to be fourth down territory".  What happens?  Pete Carroll calls a punt and I say "well they just punted away the season" and sure enough the defense shits the bed like they have all game and the offense never touches the ball again.  Why on Earth do coaches do that?  How is willfully giving the ball to the other team when you need to score and you're running out of time the "safe" idea?  You figure a smart coach would notice that his defense has been having a hell of a time stopping an offense led by Aaron Rodgers and that the likelihood of them suddenly coming up big was pretty low.

Could be worse I suppose.  I could be a Vikings fan and watch my team punt away the ball multiple times in the fourth quarter to end the season.  At least the Seahawks season ended after the two minute warning and not with like five minutes still on the clock.

As much as I hate it I guess I'm pulling for the Niners, even though they're a division rival.  Why?  Because I determined that DeForest Buckner is my... second-cousin-once-removed-in-law.

Screw the exciting football games that were played today, everybody knows the real NFL news of the day: it's Kevin Stefanski time, baby! Cleveland for sure got it right this time, don't even bother playing the games and just give us the trophy now.

Seriously though, I'm fairly happy with this pick. He seems like a good fit with our front office structure, and he did a good job of building an offense around Kirk Cousins' strengths in Minnesota.

Well my second-cousin-once-removed-in-law lost the Super Bowl.  My Mom seemed legitimately upset about that but being a long time fan of football in general I was happy to see Andy Reid win a ring.  Reid is probably the second best coach of his era, behind Belichick of course, but has some notable playoff collapses and thus doesn't really get his due.  The sports world in general puts a little too much focus in team championship rings when evaluating individual success.  Now the narrative has changed for Andy Reid, likely to a more accurate one.

Meanwhile we can probably transfer the "good coach who turns into a moron when it matters most" title to Kyle Shanahan.  I couldn't coach a football team at any level but I'm familiar enough with football strategy to know that when you're ahead in the fourth quarter you RUN THE BALL, YOU STUPID RAT-FACED ASSHOLE!!!  Damn it, he cost the Atlanta Falcons a Super Bowl with that idiocy and now he's done it to the Niners as well!  I don't know how you can be a good enough coach to lead your team to the Super Bowl but be ignorant of such basic strategy, and to do it TWICE when every single reporter asked your ass about how passing when you're supposed to kill clock lost you a Super Bowl already.  You would assume he would be thinking "gee, I better not make that mistake again."  Is this a stubbornness thing?  Like he felt he needed to "prove" that passing in the fourth quarter can work so as to deflect blame for the Falcons loss?  "I didn't cost them a Super Bowl!  See I'll win a Super Bowl using the same strategy... D'oh!"

I'm also glad to see Andy Reid win one.  He blew it in Philly quite a few times (once in the big game), and KC was a much needed fresh start for him.  Also, the Honey Badger is officially a Super Bowl champion, so that's great too.

And Patrick Mahommes has successfully defeated the Madden Curse, so kudos to him.
