Sweet Zelda swag and updates from Europe on eShop games in the return of the Nintendo Newsletter!

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/40038/nintendo-newsletter-zelda-symphony-now-selling-merchandise-direct

Today in Nintendo news, we have a new source of Zelda merch and a new game reveal thanks to an efficient German ratings board.

Zelda Symphony Begins Selling T-Shirts, Posters

Some of the merchandise from the Zelda Symphony of the Goddess Tour has gone up for sale to the general public.

The site is selling commemorative t-shirts and posters from the two seasons of the tour, as well as special Majora’s Mask versions from the international portion of the tour. All items are US$20, and international shipping is available. Note that as of press time, the Fairy Light poster (season 1) is sold out.

Our Take: “I’ll take one of the S2 posters and an S1 t-shirt, thanks.” – Donald Theriault“This may be my only opportunity to get swag from this show.” – Zach Miller

Affordable Space Adventures Headline Thursday European eShop Update

After taking the Easter holiday off, Nintendo of Europe released the eShop update for this coming Thursday, headlined by E3 indie darling Affordable Space Adventures.

Our own Daan Koopman reviewed the game, which puts you behind the controls of something that we could call a space jalopy if it wouldn’t offend actual jalopies, using the Wii U Gamepad to handle all ship systems. Co-op is heavily encouraged with up to two other players who handle the piloting and science offer duties. In Europe, the game releases Thursday for £18.99 / €16.99.

On the 3DS front, Pokemon Rumble World continues the trend of free-to-start Pokemon franchise games. The latest in the long running series of action games, Rumble World has you unlocking new arenas by earning blimps through fast-action gameplay. NWR’s review will be up shortly.

There are no Virtual Console releases in Europe this week, but Pandora’s Tower comes out as a Wii download next week and Sin and Punishment: Star Successor two weeks following. Both games will be 25% off at launch.

Our Take: “Nintendo’s basically saying ‘OK, you got all the VC games last week, so buy Affordable Space Adventures’ with this one.” – Donald Theriault

“While I can’t vouch for ASA, I’m jealous of their Wii VC games. I get the sinking feeling that NOA’s done all they’re gonna do with Wii VC in NA.” – Zach Miller

German Ratings Board Outs Terraria for Wii U, 3DS

An update from the German ratings board has confirmed that Terraria will be coming to the 3DS and Wii U.

The game, first released in 2011 on PC and later ported to multiple other platforms, is a 2D exploration game in the vein of Minecraft with an art style meant to evoke Super Nintendo platformers. No release date was given, but the game is considered appropriate for 6 and up.

Our Take: “The Wikipedia system list has the freaking Kindle Fire on it. That’s a well-ported game.” – Donald Theriault

They could even put the video out on that long forgotten "PanoramaView" app for the Wii U and I'd buy it. I just want to own the freakin' concert.
