step 2: Reserve some nightclub in LA.

step 3: hire some very attractive ladies

step 4: send some invites and get the word out.

step 5: get some dj involved.

step 6: get some food and concessions.

step 7: make sure you have some big guy at the door

You know Ironically. Nintendo did EXACTLY that with the GameCube. I wish I could find the article link where the gentleman who was doing marketing talked about it.
