The sale in Canada is pretty much over now (only a few peg warmers are left at $14.97 now). I've read online that the whole thing was an error, but I just can't see how since it was in every store (managers would know their own sales wouldn't they?) and online too. Whoever tracks numbers for this week will see a huge sales spike in Canada for DS (and PSP) games.

It was in their flyer so I don't think it was an error.

EDIT: The sale appears to be over online. Plus they seem to be sold out of everything. Glad I got mine in time! Will arrive tomorrow

I'm not sure about online, but I think they do allow mixing and matching and i'm glad since one of the games I want to get is Psychonauts.

Yes they do allow mixing and matching in store, i've heard some people say they couldn't mix them online(although others said they were able to do it).

They were out of Psychonauts, so I ended up getting:

How did you get Jungle Beat and I didn't?

Did you go on online or in person?

When you do it online you need a promotional code in order to get the third game free. There's a unique promo code for $29.99 games, $39.99 games and $49.99 games. The way it's worded it makes it seem like all three games need to be the same price in order to get the third free. So Jungle Beat doesn't count because it's $54.99.

It's better to get it there and haggle (also flirt) with the cashiers to get the things you want. But I got the Halos (which is 54.99) so yeah it'll work for Jungle Beat too. At mine it said that ALL GameCube, PS2 and Xbox software is buy two get one free.

Go to the store.

You can't find the DS deal at target.com. Only the Advertisment for it. The advertisment says the deal is "In Store only" so no online.

Me thinks that's a typo. I really can't see Nintendo dropping the DS price when it's been preforming so well against the PSP thus far. Plus dropping the DS price would force them to knock down the Micro and SP prices as well. Unless Target has worked out some special deal with them to sell it at this price point temporarily in order to give them an extra holidy boost, I don't think it's legit.
