I don't recognize some of the names. Have Karlie Yeung, Jared Rosenberg, or Aaron Kaluszka posted on the forums? They are unfamiliar to me.

I didn't know NWR was still interested in hiring, I thought they already had all the staff they wanted. Oh well... they wouldn't want what I could offer anyway.

It also seems that everyone that is going is either current or former staff. So from a reader's point of view, it appears that a meetup grows less and less likely by the hour. Unless you live in the LA area, there's really no reason to go if you aren't attending E3. It sounds like it would be fun to actually get to meet some posters in person.

That is true. I just wasn't sure of the percentage of posters here that wrote for other sites as well, or maybe had some other reason to be there. I am fortunate enough to be attending and live in the LA area, which means no flight (and my work validates my parking

)

Also- yes, putting faces on the fellow posters would be cool.

The thing about E3 that I hate are NDA's. NDA's about games in general are lame as they prevent free publicity. Ones at E3 are worse, reporters don't make it any better when they basically say stuff like "we saw this cool game that you will love, but we can't tell you about it".

Well if it makes you feel any better, as a rule we don't post about the cool 3DS game we saw that we aren't allowed to talk about, even if it is possibly the best handheld game of the last decade.

I'm still 3.5 hours from touchdown. It's unclear how long the lappy is going to make it, that's RIGHT at the window for a full charge. Wifi on a plane though is magical.
