I went with Oracle of Ages this time, my favorite of the Oracle games and one that I'm surprised has fallen this far down the list.
To me, Four Swords belongs right there with the Ocarina of Time Master Quest, in that it's not a game that stands on its own. In fact, in Four Swords' case, it's literally just another mode tacked on to the GBA version of Link to the Past. I wouldn't be surprised if they fell near the bottom of the list, but it wouldn't be due to lack of quality, just that they don't really belong here.
The game that I hope does fall to the bottom of the list is that pile of garbage that is Zelda II, and if other games don't eat away Zelda I's vote that's probably how it's going to go. Unfortunately, Zelda II benefits from there being a lot of games left that can spread the vote. Hell, Minish Cap can sit there near the bottom as well (though still higher on the list than Phantom Hourglass), one of the few Zelda games I feel just completely failed at the idea it was trying to sell: that you were shrinking down and exploring the same areas from a new perspective. It always just felt to me like you're just exploring a new set of maps in a sort of parallel dimension sort of way.
