Occupy movement with those glasses would have been interesting.

Stogi, I'm gonna have to insist that you invest in and use this new gadget.

**** yeah. $200 for this? That ain't bad. A little unreasonable considering how hipster-ish aka ugly they are. If they were a pair of white and turquoise aviator sunglasses, I'd be all over it.

They did say that was the prototype and the final product would look much more stylish, but probably not as stylish as what you are asking for.

During the whole video I felt like I wanted to look up more.

There are times where he does look up enough to see a person's face, but obviously the dude has confidence issues.

hahaha That's what I thought at first, but then yeah...you can see him capture a person's face when he has to turn his whole head, or when we naturally hold our heads higher. I think he's use to looking up out of his eyes to look straight. So he's making eye contact with people but his chin is in his chest; which just screams bitch.

For the video, maybe instead of wearing them, he should have put them on his collar or in a pocket.

Do those glasses support 3d, that way I don't have to wear those goofy glasses when I go into a theater. :)

It could teach you, but your body won't be able to keep up with the actual kinetics that it requires, and that goes for any martial art. Unless of course if you're in shape, but then why wouldn't you just practice like normal.

Because that would be way faster? I'm willing to be a lab rat in these experiments. Where do I sign up? Also, I'd like to be able to learn magic tricks.

Well, "I know Kung Fu" and "I can do Kung Fu" are two different things after all.

Atleast I would be able to practice myself into shape as I would already know what to do.
It is all about technique anyway isn't it?

Experience is very important. You need the body to react instinctively, no thinking at all. If this method could give you experience then I think that would be optimal.

I would like a device that would flash me with all the different flavors of computer languages.  I know all the fundamentals.  Its pretty much to the different languages flavors so I think that be a good thing.

Anything that requires muscle memory I wouldn't see as being implantable.

Who cares if you can't do Kung Fu? That's only the tip of the iceberg. You could learn Aeronautical Engineering in a day. That requires no fitness. You could learn how to speak 17 different languages. Again, that requires no fitness (though maybe practice pronouncing words). You could learn how to operate a Helicopter or learn all the jazz chords on a piano.

That would be amazing.

except

Quote
Here's how it works: you pick a task that requires high performance from your visual cortex, like catching a ball. Then, you go find someone who's a pro at catching a ball, stick them in an fMRI machine, and record what's going on in their brain while they visualize catching a ball. Now you've got your ball-catching program, and you're ready to learn. Next step: put yourself into the fMRI machine, and rig it to induce that pro ball-catching imagery that you recorded earlier in your brain using neurofeedback. You don't even have to be paying attention while this is going on. Your brain, though, becomes familiar with that pattern, which is what learning is: your brain becoming familiar with patterns. Play that pattern back enough, and you will get better at whatever activity the pattern is associated with.

I'm not sure how much visual cortex learning languages requires or mathematical genius requires, but if and when they get that portion of it figured out, then sign me the **** up.
