3. I've only played a few matched with Dirk so far and despite the fact that he's at most an hour drive from me, I still had some noticeable lag.

Really? I didn't notice any lag on my end...

Maybe I was too busy getting my ass beat by you to notice.

It only seemed to happen early on, so maybe someone was downloading something earlier and ruining my connection, or it might have been because you were hosting. What type of internet connection do you have?

And our fights were 50/50. I'd say your Dedede is definitely your best, with your Lucario 2nd.

No way were they 50/50. We played around twenty matches, and if I had to guess, I'd say you won 14-15 of them.

You really think my Lucario is second best? I thought I was doing awful as Lucario. I'll try playing as him a little bit more. I also unlocked Ganondorf last night, who seems to play mostly the same as in Melee, so I'll have to give him a go as well.

Dedede and Lucario were the two characters of yours I had the hardest time getting close to, as in getting near them, I felt, was dangerous.

Oh, and sorry about leaving so abruptly but I needed to go to bed and had no way to communicate it. However, I've added taunt messages which will convey this in the future.

It worked out well, as I was going to play one more match then head out myself. So no worries.

This game doesn't run in 720p and is therefore not next-gen.

No I haven't played the game yet, why do you ask?

That's what happened to me back when I played Strikers with him. I didn't notice any lag during our matches, yet SB swears the game was riddled with them. Maybe the problem is with his connection and not ours? After all, in my house I'm the only one using the internet, while he has 2 other people using it, affecting his bandwidth.

SB, you definitely need to test online further. If you get the same problem with everyone else then maybe the problem is on your end.

Uh, ok. I would say the opposite is true, it has some of the most protective fans of any franchise (ok maybe I'm exagerrating then again so are you) and will suck down anything and everything without admitting it has flaws.

Actually I was expecting this thread to explode in a million of complains, so I think we  are ok so far and the general conscensus is that the game is awesome.

Exactly, the game is an awesome game but it doesn't negate the fact it has some unnecessary flaws IMO, though the heart of the game is great (Multiplayer).

Incorrect...That'd be the Zelda series, and I'm the sole person responsible for it... :cool;

The rocks that sit just north of the great bridge over Lake Hylia in Twilight Princess felt completely out of place and unintuitive.  Miyamoto's departure from traditional gaming spells doom for the series.

ahahahahha the FMV quality in this game is awful, and not even in "full crap-screen".

What'd they do, dust off the old Super Mario Sunshine video kit?

What was wrong with Sunshine's video quality? Now, the content of those videos, that's another matter...

This looks a decent deal better than Sunshine's videos.  Besides on an SDTV nobody's going to notice the little nitpicky crap anyways.

Some modes don't have a retry button. If I know I'm about to fail, I don't need to watch myself failing. Quitting then restarting takes longer than the quick retry option.

Load times. F-you. I guess that's really Nintendo's console division's fault for putting such a slow disc drive in the Wii.

Clones with a roster of 35 (of course this is a nitpick).

More to come.

according to the manual you can shake the remote to do a smash attack!, with that my previous nitpick isn't as big, I still want to point to the menus though.

The maze rocked, I and my bother playing it co-op was great
