I Am Halloween (And So Can You!)

How to make your own Wii Remote costume:

1. Go to an appliance store and beg for a refrigerator door box, or a refrigerator box if you're really fat.
2. Pray that they have a white one, because that means you can skip half of these steps.
3. Go to the store and buy some kind of adhesive, scissors, markers, and white paper.
4. Tape the two box halves together to make a strong structure.
5. Cut holes in the box for your face and arms.  The arm holes should be a few inches lower than the face hole, and they should be pretty big to give you more flexibility and to make it easier to get your arms in and out of the costume.
6. Glue/tape white paper all over the box to make it a white box.
7. Draw a bunch of stuff on the box to make it look like a Wii Remote.  I used a real controller to get the proportions right.
8. Tape a Nunchuk to the inside of the box, near the bottom.
9. Get a friend to help you don this monstrosity.
10. Go to a party, get drunk, and ask girls if they'd like to play with your joystick.

Well, you just gave me a great idea...

Dick Cheney in a refrigerator box = Dick in a box.

But I don't think I'm dressing up this year.  Dick Tracy works, too, or just any old-fashioned private eye.

"10. Go to a party, get drunk, and ask girls if they'd like to play with your joystick."

Only if a friend joined in and dressed as a nunchuk attachment!

I think you missed step #8, Bill.

Also, look closer at the picture.

Oh, so I did!

But it'd be more fun if a friend DID dress up as a nunchuk... =)

Either of those won't help. I will drown in both.

Here is a question for all of you.

How many A-holes do you see in that picture?

The correct answer is 1, the one he cut in the box.

I think a TV box should be enough. Microwave is teeny bit too small!

I'm 5'4. Vertically challenged indeed

You need a white fencing mask with a giant A written on it.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!
