We're hiring more than one person.  I don't think Windy has even looked at the apps he has already received; he just wants a larger pool before he begins selecting.

Khushrenada what makes you so sure that you have already won. I think the rest of us have a fair chance of winning.  No need to go making a victory party so soon.

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

For anyone who doesn't get picked, I just wanted to post that you shouldn't worry too much.

I believe I applied to like 4 of these open application things before they brought me on.

Hello Patchkid15. I'm afraid I am not all that familiar with you nor do I know how familiar you are with me. However, in regards to my claiming of victory, that stems from a little something I started before the job postings were announced. In the Funhouse forum (or forum re-arrangement complaint station), I announced that I was running a campaign to be elected as staff. I had a feeling an announcement was going to be made soon and I was right. And since then, I have been making jokes here and there as though I am running an election campaign. With the submission deadline over, I then decided to continue on the election joke as though results had come in and claiming victory. This way, if I am not made staff, I can then call for a recount and level charges of corruption. Yes, it's just not that funny when you have to explain the joke.

I don't know if you checked my victory thread that I linked but if so, you should see at the very top that I am aware what I am doing is rash but that is part of my persona in the funhouse. But I was also doing so as a joke using Sun Tze as though my whole campaign had some grand strategy. Plus, I know that if I am not made staff, (or even if I am) then the staff (and other forum-goers) may be able to have some fun at my expense.

Then it's a good thing I only display confidence. If I was arrogant, I wouldn't even acknowledge my other competitors. Or have sent a bribe to the staff.

I wont be upset if I don't get picked, I just hope it isn't because my review was for a game that was 6 months and a 11 days old when I sent it in.  That would suck.

I didn't apply this time. Too busy.

Good luck to all the applicants.

...though, now that I think about it, wishing good luck to every applicant doesn't make much since, does it? I mean, if I want every applicant to have an equal amount of luck, then I basically want every applicant to have no luck.

Never mind what I said earlier. Good luck to just stevey.

He is fooling you all, it isn't really a joke but he is covering it as one.

Actually, I have to agree with GoldenPhoenix on this one.  He's faking masquerading a real thing as a joke so he can try to get more of his name out there for this.  Or something like that.  Whatever the deal is, never trust Khushrenada.

Heh heh. Good for me.

Don't mind Golden_Phoenix, Patchkid15. She's been trying to make me look like a liar to hide her romance with Svevan. You see, a while back, I posted the whole sordid story of Svevan's plot to win her heart. She tried to pretend such a thing wasn't true but if you look on her myspace page, you'll see she is "friends" with Svevan. In fact, if you scroll down the page, you'll see Svevan even makes a comment:

Quote

Must be lame having only me as a friend. Sorry, I'll try to be extra-cool to make up for it.

This means at one time, it was just Svevan and her. Together. On the same page! Since then, they've brought in a couple more friends to try and hide the romance but the evidence is there for all to see.

As for Thatguy, I love your message. In fact, I think I'll quote it for awhile. My campaign message is old and there's not much to do now that the election results are in. Yeah. It's just me reminding everyone that I won.. Maybe I'll tell you what a friend said about me one time after screwing him over once more in a strategy board game called Diplomacy. But today is not that day.

EDIT: Crimm, what game did you review?
