I was instructed to not buy any games leading up to the holidays, so as to not preempt a gift. Then I got no games. Ha. Got a shitload of clothes though, which is good becaues I hate shopping. I figure I've been spared at least three hours in department stores. I could play Luigi's Mansion like ten times instead. Ooooh, burn. So I guess I gotta hit up the bank, post office, state store and game store today for a little post-Jesus Day shopping spree.

Semi-related, I suppose, but can you buy a spare microphone for Mario Party? We was thinkin' of renting MP7 for New Year's. Does the rental version come with the mic? Maybe I should find a more appropriate thread.

I tried looking for the mic alone in stores but I don't think it is sold alone, in stores anyways. I found that very retarded.

Oh hay, great year for gaming this year.

Super Mario Strikers - my brother actually got this, but since I can beat him up it's pretty much mine.  Best muliplayer game I've played in quite some time.
Mario Tennis: Power Tour - same situation as above.  Pretty cool, great handheld tennis.
Naruto 4 - Not actually a christmas gift, but I got it around christmas and I didn't pay for it!  Pretty cool, yay for fighting!
Kururin Squash - same situation as above.  Sorta disappointing.  I'd rather use skill to get through tricky puzzles then hitting enemies with a boxing glove...
1080 Avalanche - I'm having a blast with this game, I was not prepared for the sense of speed this game delivers.
Battalion Wars - Holy crap, this is hard.  I suck at this game so much, II'm never goign to get anywhere in it.
Luigi's Mansion - launch title like what

For the DS~

Castlevania - woah.  I was not prepared for how awesome this game is.  It's my first Castlevania, and Ima definitley pick up the GBA compilation whenever it comes out.
Trauma Center: Under the Knife - I love this game.  The dialogue can get annoying at times, but the operations are awesome.
Advance Wars DS- I haven't played this one too much, but I'm liking it a bit more than AW2, even though this one's basically the same except on steroids.
Partners in Time - Haven't played too much of this one either, but it's pretty cool so far.  That's all I have to say about that.

Well, 1080 and Luigi's Mansion's are way cheap, and my mom got Battalion Wars for only $30 because of a misprint.  My uncle got me Trauma Center, and Naruto was free.  Kururuin was only 30 as well.

Well, I got myself (since I'm 23);

Trauma Center - great game, but it gets me too tense and I have to stop every other operation.
Mario Kart DS - already unlocked everything and starting to play online, great game.
Clothes - heh

It was a very 3rd party Christmas: Prince of Persia: Two Thrones (MUCH better than WW), LEGO Star Wars (fun), and X-Men Legends II (haven't really gotten into this; my wife and I had a lot of fun with the first one).

Mission Hill Complete Series (DVD)
CD Cassette Converter

I better start saving up quite a bit, me and my dad will be in some financial trouble for awhile =/

Oh my God KDR...

I think I read about this a few months ago in a newspaper, but it said they were trying to make a game based on Puerto Rico's agriculture and set in the past.

This is...it's...I dunno, weird.

I wonder if I could get one around here. Maybe in San Juan?

Edit: I was just checking the forums on that site KDR, and apparently this game is pretty famous! I just hope that it gets you curious about our island, and you europeans may just visit us
