My frined just got a gamecube with MK

D and the Zelda Pack. MK

D is very good in my opinion but doesn't have enough to unlock. I have only played a few of the Zelda Games (completed all the ones i have played though) and i would like to play Majoras Mask but Im not going to get it off the European Stars Catologue because I dont have enough points (stars). i will probably buy it off him. Im well peeved now- TWO of my friends have GC, PS2 (one has 2 of these) and an X-BOX. Lucky little.....

Mario Kart actually has plenty to unlock. Every course unlocks something on every difficulty.

with the exception of all cup tour on 50cc and 100cc. don't waste your time playing those levels if all you're trying to do is unlock everything.

anyone know what speed mirror mode runs at? it looks to be somewhere between 100cc and 150cc, but that's just a guess. it's definately faster than 50cc.

Im not sure what the speed is but the AI is a lot more vicious. And by the way CO-OP mode would be good except the only other person who I could play with would be my sister. And shes Rubbish. Totally Rubbish.

what game to buy? GET GAMEFLY, i just signed up for my trial today, but they have virtualy everygame, you can have new releases shipped to you the day they come out! i don't know if i am wrong for advertising for them on here but IMHO it's a great thing

i think that you should get NFL 2004. im not sure how oldthis topic is, but 2k4 would be the best football game.; if you want another idea, iw ould get the hobbit, or thirteen....but most of all, i would wait till frbuaray and get final fantasy chystal choricals......but thats just what i think

Does anyone know anything about the Sims Bustin Out for Gamecube? It came out Dec. 16 and I was just wondering whether or not someone has already played it or not. I'm thinking of getting it for my little sister. She loves the Sims games.

I would highly recommend not to get it, because it takes about 161 blocks for one save file. That basically destroyed the game for me, i was really interested in the game until i heard that.

What do you guys think of Sonic Heroes?

I know next to nothing about Sonic, but I think the local Babbage's had a demo of this running when I was there the other day. I played for a minute and it seemed like a fun platformer. Maybe I'm blind, but I haven't seen it mentioned much around here.

I was hoping to get a general idea of whether people on this thread think Sonic Heroes will be worth buying.

i think you should get a good rpg so i suggest metroid prime or ledend of zelda ww they are both FANTASTIC games, and if youve got bro or sis who likes it get mario kart or f-zero gx all in all it depends on how much money you have to vspend on games

But RPGs they are not...RPGs are in slim supply until later this year, but Skies of Arcadia and Evolution Worlds should tie up your RPG cravings until others(such as Tales and Baten Kaitos) come out...

Ok. New to the cube, got THUG, nightfire (it was free) and True crime. I'm afraid i can't really say what kind of game i'm looking for. my list:

- Smash bros. melee
- Mario sunshine
- Hitman 2
- Rayman 3
- Starsky & Hutch

Super Smash Bros. has awesome multiplayer and a great single player too. It's a must have, and one of the best cube games.

Super Mario Sunshine is a really good single player game (though not as good as the others), and has near-perfect controls. If you don't mind the tropical theme this is another must-have.

Those are the only 2 I have played, but I have heard good things about Hitman 2. I would NOT recommend Starsky and Hutch. Stay away from that one. And don't forget to get Metroid Prime and Zelda: The Wind Waker if you haven't already.
