i'd just rather them do a 2d game because it will look much prettier. the DS can do some fierce 3D, but the crummy textures we've all seen in the 3D titles doesn't really excite me over a 3D Zelda game. Now, if they want to release Master Quest and sell it for a low price, I'd buy that. [i apologize to Ian for giving nintendo another opportunity to release a port]
. .. a recent interview said that you'd mostly control the DS zelda w/ a stylus, which leads me to believe that it will be 2d, with the top screen serving as a map and inventory (which you can pull down to the bottom screen by pressing select, thus allowing quicker inventory swaps) and hte bottom screen containing all of the action. i don't know how we control attacks, probably touch Link's left side for weapon B and his right flank for his sword/weapon A.
or maybe the bottom screen is used for a 3d first person view for shooting various projectile weapons (just like the bob-omb game on sm64ds or the bird game in warioware)
