I always thought MJ was a "freaky-if-of-a-man" but I never thought he touched those kids like they said. They say it was all about him owning the rights to all the Beetles songs anyway so.

Its good that the trial is finally over. MJ is a wierdo, and probably has issues, but...I don't know. I don't know if he did what they say he did or not, but love it or hate it, he's been "proven innocent."

I was about to say something about OJ, but I think I should refrain.

Not that I'm trying to start something but why does most "high profile" (See: Hollywood, Sports, Music, ect.) case in America seem to have the same factors involved. Think about it for a while and see if you come up with the same thing as I have.

You don't see how anyone could want a child molester to go to jail? I'm sick of fans of various celebrities being stupidly blind and wanting these people to get off of serious charges just because they provide some sort of entertainment. Yes, he was found not guilty which just proves that in America you can pretty much do what you want and get away with it if you're famous.

I'm not surprised that he was found innocent - Jackson's lawyers poked enough holes in the testimony of key witnesses to cast doubt on case of the prosecution. That was more crucial than the fact the person is famous.

Thanks Ms.P for saying what I meant to say. Jackson is not a stable person - he's got mental issues that any average person (ie not famous) would be encouraged or forced to seek therapy. I wonder if all these people who put Jackson on a pedestal got that same sickening feeling I did after watching part of the Bashir documentary. Eh, whatever. He might have been a great singer, but he is a total nutter.

No. He was found "Not Guilty" of the charges, but that does not make him innocent - no matter how hard you try to close your mind. Innocent != Not Guilty.

Someone just needs to find MJ a boyish-looking dwarf of a girlfriend, so he can pretend that she is a little boy and stop playing with children that are about 1/4 his age. Whether he is molesting them or not, its just not right.

Would you want you little son spending the night at the neighbors house, even though the neighbor has no kids(especially anywhere near his age)? Famous or not you wouldn't let that happen, so don't pretend like its ok for MJ just because he is MJ.

I mean your parents always tell you never to take "candy" from strangers, and this guy has the biggest form of "sweets" a kid could ask for, his own Amusement Park!!!!! Ands don't pretend that he is not a stranger, You don't know him and we all know that they don't come much stranger than him.

Um...that kinda goes against that whole "Innocent Until Proven Guilty" thing. According to the law, he is innocent of the crimes. You may not think so, and 10 million other people may not think so, but he is innocent of the charges that were filed against him. Not just "Not Guilty".

Considering the massive payoff that happened years ago when similar circumstances arose, I really don't think he's completely innocent.

Not trying to defend MJ here but sometimes its easier to just pay-off a would-be lawsuit instead of fighting it. Its not always an admission of guilt (at least not to that charge), but sometimes you would rather bite the bullet instead dragging yourself through the mud.

With the celebrity life it could be cheaper to make a pay-off instead of further discrediting your name by keeping it in the news negatively.
I'm sure you can refer to sometime in you life, where you would rather just let something go (such as w/ a girlfriend) instead of bringing up previously unrelated stuff that you would rather keep buried or "in the closet" so to speak.

I don't know that MJ did anything angainst the law or if he was just paying-off would be harassers that could have been looking for a quick buck, I don't know if he has something to hide or he really is just trying to please the kids, but.......

Seriously though, Michael Jackson has serious issues. Even if he hasn't molested any kids, he's probably just a hairline away from snapping, and doing what he claims to detest. He needs help in a big way, but he's got enough power stored up from back when he used to matter, to wall himself away from reality, and destroy himself even further.

I think Jackson is clearly a pedo, he practically admits it (although he doesn't seem to understand what he's admitting to), and others have probably been put away for less reason. But there really didn't seem to be any "evidence" in this case (things like Jackson's computer got thrown out), and it came down to a "he said/she said" thing. And the defense managed to paint the victim/mother as untrustworthy, and a con-artist (despite their failure to prove it with the big star-power witnesses like Jay Leno). Considering Jackson's money (or "apparent money", since he's supposedly almost broke), can people really say beyond any reasonable doubt that the accusers didn't make it up?

BTW, Jackson's fanboys are a dangerous bunch of freaks. Probably worse than Michael Jackson himself. I saw an interview with a family member of that last accuser, and he was saying that one of the reasons they took the money was because Jackson's fans were threatening to kill them, and they would frequently wake up to find things like rats with their heads cut off sitting in pools of blood on their porch.

Good to see the law do its job. The case should have been thrown out the very moment the prosecution attempted to appeal to the "hearts" of the jury (stuff like "oh, no! I got cancer!", unless Jackson is accused of causing cancer that has NO place in court!). There should be a law against that kind of attempted influence, perhaps a week in jail or something like that. Let the judge ram anyone into the ground who attempts that.

I wouldn't say he's a child molestor without proof. There was none, so he's innocent, thus not a child molestor.

MJ was a Jahova's (sp?) witness so it was wrong and immoral to him at the time. The fire was Pepsi's fault. His sking was turning white anyway so he desided to bleach it so that he wouldn't have a bunch of big white blotches on his skin. He didn't throw the kid, he just held him up (like the monkey guy at the begining of The Lion King) to present him to his German fans. MJ can, in fact, fly. The rest of it is well, meh.

Insanity is not a felony and quite frankly I'm glad of that. Because the next step would be declaring those who disagree with you insane and locking them away, effectively enforcing thoughtcrime. Or maybe calling homosexuals crazy and throwing them into jail.

And hell, I have never touched a woman in my childhood, does that mean I'm dangerous and must be locked away?
