Because the GameCube gives Midway bowel problems. Spy Hunter 2 is quite a pathetic game, though. It's usually located in the bargain bins for Xbox and PS2 if you really wanna play it.

Midway is currently going through a desuckify phase, they're throwing out games that suck in order to concentrate more on good games.

They're trying to make less but better games since their "swamp market with crap" plan didn't work out and brought them near bankrupcy. That probably manifests itself in longer dev cycles and more thorough testing.

*Gasp* A company actually learning BEFORE it goes bankrupt that shovelware doesn't sell? Midway seems to have figured out what Acclaim couldn't.

Well hopefully developers  will learn not to make games as bad as Charlie's Angels,Aquaman,Catwoman and SuperMan 64. And if EA made Catwoman I wonder how bad their gonna make Superman. Maybe instead of a Capcom petition gamers should make a ANTI-SHOVELWARE petition.

Perhaps the devs at EA got one look at the Catwoman mvie and decided it wsn't worth putting any effort into the game?
