(well i still have my ps2) But the GC is 10X's the graphic machine that the PS2 is i love my gamecube, the waves in wave runner look real Def Jam vendetta is just a great game. I will buy a ps3 when they come out but i will never doubt nintendo's power again. I used to say that the Gamecube was mostly geared towards kids, but oh have i changed my ways, Gamecube is teh best.

Amen to that brothah!  Yeah, I have the gamecube and my brother has a PS2.  He now wishes he had gotten an Xbox or GC because he admits that the PS2 graphics suck.

Is the graphics debate still going on? I'm pretty sure that all 3 systems can all look about the same. Next generation consoles are gonna be amazing, but graphics can only get so good.

depends on the game and graphic style, i've seen some ps2 games that look damn fine.  not that graphics matters, but there isn't much difference between ps2 and gc graphics.

But also so far i have not noticed any huge bugs in the programming of the game cube where as in vice city and GTA3 there were horrible bugs like falling through the maps and stuff like that.

yea, that depends on the developer though not the systems.  the latest issue of that is driv3r which was developed for multiple systems.  some games don't get finished, polished, or tested enough.

I'm not saying that I play systems only for their graphics, I'm only saying that PS2 does not have as good as graphics as Xbox and GC.  I don't care what kind of graphics Nintendo's systems have.  I always get them no matter what.

I grew up on the 8 bit nes these are the days i dreamed of when i was still a wee little tyke but now the graphics are so much a part of the game it may be a deciding factor in whther i buy it or not. I remeber when graphics really took a back seat in the whole issue of gameplay, it used to be if you enjoyed the game it was for a reason other than graphics.

For gamers? mostly no. But for other generic people who play video games on consoles, then yes graphics are more important usually. I hear PS2 graphics can look awsome, oh what Gran Turismo 3
