Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Wouldnt it be truly sick if they made homosexual versions of Harvest moon. Man that would be screwed up. Or how about a black, white, latin and asian versions. But i do believe they are going to be 2 seperate discs. Nintendo classifies them as 2 seperate games. Its alright if they make a girls version sure, but why push the guys release date up? Ack.
One day I will.

The original StarFox 2 was, by Nintendo's own account, finished. They just didn't release it for some reason. Miyamoto's talked about that himself, so its a bit different than vaporware.

thanks ms pikmin.  i'll check that out.  any idea what page to start on?  i've avoided that thread for a long time because it's too large for me to tackle in a single sitting and i'm bad about starting late in existing threads.

I also hate the whole "political correctness" issue.  I do think you're wrong about this one though.  MOST video games have a male character leading the game.  This is really no big deal to me, as I know most of the video game buyers are guys and that is primarily who is being catered to.  And I just don't care about playing a male in a game.

I do think it's nice that they are throwing a bone to girls and having such an in depth game have the option of choosing male or female.  I don't see this as politically correct.  I think they're just trying to widen the group it will appeal to.

Widen the group? I've loved harvest moon ever since i was.. god, I dunno how old I was. But I love it. I've loved playing it as a guy and in the gb ones how you could play as a girl too [even though her part sucked.] I was highly dissapointed they never brought Back to Nature: Girls Version to america, it looked so interesting.  You could compete in the flower festival!  I'm really excited that they're reinstituting the marriage/baby system, that was one of my favorite parts. I hadn't heard until recently though that they were making AWL for both males and females. I'm excited. I can't help but wonder how it's gonna work if you have a baby in the girls version. Will you take over the guy for awhile?  hee~ I'll buy both, just wait.

And on an unrelated note, anyone psyched about Paper Mario 2? Or am I just a loser like that?
