LAN Play on Serious Sam?
« on: March 30, 2004, 01:42:00 PM »
Come on, if the X Box version had LAN play, and if the upcomming Sam title for GCN and PS2 only has net play on the PS2 version, there MUST be some LAN option.
If not, what a waste of $20..

Come on, look at that game. Does any part of what you see scream "good game"? Would a company making a mediocre game bother with things like LAN?

Kirby's Air Ride got it, but F-Zero GX didn't.

F-Zero GX had it but Amusement Vision removed it towards the end for some reason.

have you ever played Serious Sam? If you have not you have no room to talk. These games are usually released at the Budget Price(Xbox version released at 50 but dropped within a month)

Its a good game with a lot of frenetic shooting(like early doom and wolfenstein games)

Serious Sam games are fun games.  They are budget games, yes, but they are fun.

Casey: I own both PC games. The screenshots that were released of the PS2 and GC version were downright crap in comparison (the new enemy designs look bad as well). I'm waiting for Serius Sam 2 to come out for PC, with Doom 3 level graphics, vehicular combat, more intelligent enemy troop behaviur (like manning unoccupied vehicles) and designed by Croteam themselves.
