Topic: Does anybody know how to achieve the BLACKBIRD and PAPILLION suits in the PAL version of P.N.03?

Regarding the PAL version of P.N.03.
Hi, I'm from Europe but nobody knows how to get the suits here. I know that Capcom have cranked up the criteria for achieving these 2 suits in the PAL version, but I don't know what the criteria is. Is it completions, rankings, bying all suits, upgrading all suits, completion level, completion time, not dying or what....?
I have completed both easy and normal level but with regular grades and with use of continues. I'm currently at level 9 on hard mode....with the ultra blazer suit.......
Damnit, I want the BLACKBIRD suit.
Please, I know this is an US. site but if anybody knows how to get these 2 suits in the PAL version, I will be forever thankfull to that person.

I think you need to beat the game first before you can get the Blackbird suit.  Then you load the "Clear Data" and you will have it when you start.

I'm also not too sure about the Papillion suit, but I think you have to beat the game twice on one file.

I have completed the game on both easy and normal mode on the same file but with regular grades.-Nothing happened and I'm now on hard mode with that file. That's why I wonder if you have to do it in a certain rank aswell, or if you have to bye and upgrade all the avaliable suits first or something.
PLEASE somebody heeeeelp.....I want that suit!

I looked it up for you.  You have to be Hard mode for the Blackbird and Ultra Hard for the Papillion suit.  Good luck

Where did you find that piece of info on the PAL version? I'm very curious because I have searched for this all over everywhere.

I saw it too in a FAQ at GameFAQs, but it was said to be a rumor. Anyway, it sounds pretty logical to me.

Bummp.... sorry, I don't want to make another topic for this. Here's a question - I've beat the game on easy, and then on hard mode (destroyer rank) - but not yet on normal, and there's no Blackbird suite, nor Ultra Hard mode... any ideas?

Hm, now I've finished the normal mode also, and still I haven't got the Blackbird suit and the Ultra Hard mode, does anybody know what needs to be done to unlock them? Thanks in advance!

OK, just for the reference - I've got the Blackbird suit finally, after beating easy mode again, but this time with all the suits purchased. Now I'm hoping to get the ultra hard mode unlocked, by running for the second time trough hard mode.
