Another GC exclusive to be published by Capcom

It's called Shantae, apparently there is such a game on the GBC, and it's in development for GBA and GC, as reported by cube-europe here... Looks promising

Edit: here Cubed3 rants about the game being GC exclusive.

The developer is called WayForward? Pfft, I bet they read Douglas Adams' "Dirk Gently's Hollistic Detective Agency".

Shantae? Oh yeah, I've heard of that game. I've wanted to check that baby out on the GBC, but the production run was so limited, I've yet to find a copy anywhere.

The basic story of the original is that Shantae, half woman, half genie, has to stop pirates from taking over her homeland. She does so by learning different dances to transform into animals to perform special moves.
I've also heard it's HELLA HARD.

The game is hell-hard, and there's a GBA version coming soon as well.  News on the GCN version is rather scant, but Capcom did admit to having the game in development at the time, though whether it would continue on as a fully published GCN title is yet to be determined...

More Capcom love sounds good to me.

Bill, if it was anyone else, he wouldn't be walking away from his computer at the end of the day after saying that.    But as it would so happen, I know of this guy, even though I have never met him, and I actually respect him greatly.  If he wants to be the official Ninja of PGC, he can do so.  I prefer to work from the shadows anyway.

And now that I think of it...some fool mistook me for you at the G4 forums, Grey Ninja- it's great to finally meet who I've been mistaken for nearly a year now...

Hell, that guy actually thought I was you at a time when I never posted on these boards (only watched as a guest, and constantly visited the site for news)...oh well...

I feel so welcomed here...it's kinda...scary...

I am actually really curious now as to who mistook you for me, and what he accused you of doing.    I restrict myself to a fairly small number of boards, and I am just wondering what it was that was said, and if it was someone that I fought with or not.  Man, I'm famous.  It's so exciting.  

But yeah, you are definately welcome here.  I don't think there are many who would disagree.

An obvious attempt to kill the thread...and get this- the sap is actually a MODERATOR there now...which is interesting to me, since he acted like a MOD long before 2 months ago if you look at the date of posting above...

Just sickening...but look at the bright side- mouse_clicker gave both of us good props in the same post.

Wow.  I'm actually quite impressed that someone thought I was you.    I lack your patience, and my tech knowledge isn't close to yours to be honest.  I try to keep up, but I am not really as extreme into it as you are.  I am actually kind of sorry that I didn't help you out alongside Mouse Clicker in that thread though.  I just didn't think that I had much to offer that you didn't already say, and I didn't think my moral support would really help much.  (well... that and I hate the whole registration process)

I am actually pretty surprised that Mouse said that though.  I must say that for the first time in months, I am actually pleased to come here.  And today of all days.

The same guy thought I was an alias on Shadow Fox- his brain department has been experiencing heavy quarterly losses this year. And why are you surprised, Grey? We may have our pleasent "disagreements", but I still think you're the best poster we have here.  

Also, Shadow, are you serious? Flavius is a moderator now? Wonder whose %$@& he had to &%#$ to get that position.
