Check this out, not sure how to post link, but heres the URL.

Im sure most of you have seen this before, but It looks really hot imo.

Further, it looks as though you have the option there for four WIRELESS CONTROLLERS, no cords! Bring it on.

This is what the CUBE should have been more like, I hope this is similar to the form the N5 does take on.

What do you guy's think? seen anymore interesting (fake) art goin round?

I've heard the Nexus name thrown around but that doesn't look quite the same as the Nexus mockup I saw a while ago.  Maybe it's just a different colour.  Anyway I see two huge flaws with that design that I hope Nintendo would not incorporate.  First of all the shape makes the console unstackable.  Considering how common it is now to have multiple consoles an odd shape like that is inconvienent.  An ideal design is something flat that's front loading.  Plus making the console look like a toy has done enough damage to sales thank you.  In America at least the N5 should look like an electronics device.

Second of all I don't really like the idea of having to use wireless controllers because they require batteries.  Wireless controllers are a great idea but there should be an option to plug them into the console to preserve battery life.  The controllers should have detachable cords and thus give everyone both options.

What if the wireless controllers were rechargeable, like the GBA SP?  Yeah, it would probably cost too much for the batteries/technology, but if it were feasable...

Why does that pic remind me of a Sega Genesis?

"What if the wireless controllers were rechargeable, like the GBA SP?"

Sure.  Just make it so you can plug them into the console to recharge and thus play at the same time.  The issue is that if I want to play right this second I don't want to have to get screwed over by dead batteries.

Iwata–san has allegedly confirmed backwards compatibility. http://www.nintendojo.com/infocus/view_item.php?1072397069

The translation is REALLY bad but you get the general idea. If someone has the latest Famitsu and could translate better, I think we'd all be happy. But it's Christmas so I guess I shouldn't be asking for favors.
