Help with RGB cable please
« on: November 11, 2003, 01:55:25 PM »
I have a PAL GameCube and I need a RGB cable. I know, however, that many RGB cables don't offer real RGB, so it's a bit risky to buy one online. I recently bought a  Thrustmaster RGB scart cable, the only one I could find on a store near me, and it's actually RGB, but I think it's defective, since I keep getting this wierd image problem. I tried it on different TVs and it's really a problem with the cable. And it was the last one they had...
So I really have to buy one online, but I don't know which one. The official one is out of the question, since I want to connect it to my stereo, and I don't feel very confortable buying another from Thrustmaster... The Venom one sounds good, gold plated and all, but I can't find any reviews...
Does anyone know something about it? What about anyother RGB cable, as long as it's real RGB and can also be plugged to a stereo? Which one do you use?
Thanks in advance

The official one only has the Scart cable to connect to the TV, it doesn't have separated left and right audio connections for a stereo or amplifier.

use the AV cables that come with your cube for sound. RGB goes into what ever holes they go into, and the red white yellow ones go into your amp or something, well not the yellow.
