Topic: How old are you and how long have you had gamecube?

17 going on 18, allthough i feel much older, my first game systems was sega master system in kindergarten, i had every game but only played alex kidd in miricle world ^_^, got my gamecube with my 2001 xmas money, recently i have traded all my games at electronics botique to get a gameboy player, so my gc game list is down to zero :'-( but i still have my game saves on my memory card ^_^

best games would have to be eternal darkness, ts2, pso I/II, mario party, smb 1, zelda ww.
i WOULD get pn03 but it seems nintendo don't want australia to have it, if my store gets it i'll be snapping it up - also already reserved sc II, ff: cc
looking forward to f-zero, viewtiful joe, killer 7, mgs:twin snakes, custom robo, animal crossing, mario kart, kirby's air ride (for LAN - come-on, it's what it's all about) res evil 4, heh, plenty of capcom in there.

I'm 19, and I've had my GameCube since about... Erm, September? Early September... Or it may of been late August. Hell, I can't remember. I have something like sixteen games. Check my IGN Game List for titles. GameCube was the console where I promised myself I'd stop trading in my games once they got boring, as it was a bad habit of mine. I miss my SNES/N64 collection. ;___;

But no, I've ended up getting rid of some games, but only crap ones. Like Aggressive Inline and NightFire. Yeah, bet that was an exciting read.

Picked up my Cube (Jet Black) on launch day, and then stared at the box for 5 hours at work before I was able to go home and play it.  Currently own 14 or so games, picking up a few more soon.  I'm an Electronic Arts employee, currently working on SSX3 and I love my cube.  I've bought every Nintendo system since the NES and I keep on planning to do so until either Nintendo or I dies.  Whichever comes first.

I am 19, and bought my Jet Black Cube on release day in the U.S.  I have 18 games right now.  I would have had 20 games, but traded two in for a new WaveBird.  Like most gamers here, about 3/5th's of my games are nintendo exclusive, and most of those being nintendo developed titles.  I have been a nintendo fan since I first got my NES back in 1989.  I missed out on the 16bit era for the most part couldnt save money to buy a SNES.  Didnt get a SNES until 1996, and then proceded to buy a N64 in early 1997.  It was the N64 that instilled the pro-nintendo attitude.  Experiences like Mario64 for the first time, and Zelda OoT really were great days for this gamer.  This gamer is pro-nintendo for life.

I'm 35 and bought my 10 year old daughter a Gamecube, a GBA, and 5 games for Christmas 2002.  Animal Crossing was one of the games and she got me hooked on it so that when the GBA SP was launched I went out and bought another Gamecube, the SP, and another copy of Animal Crossing because she was hogging it all.  I too have been a big fan of Nintendo since I first bought a NES and then have kept up with each Nintendo Console released after that.  We currently have 31 games and are awaiting Mario Kart so we can go head to head.  (She usually wins .. young whippersnapper)

After reading these posts and the average age I don't see how anyone can call the GCN a 'kiddie' box!

Im 16 years old living in Australia, I bought my Jet (Black) GameCube on May 17 (launch day).

These are my current games (in order of purchase):

Current accessories I own:
- 1x Jet GameCube controller (the one that comes with the cube)
- Official Nintendo Memory card 59
- Official Nintendo Memory card 251
- 1x Wavebird controller

So in total I have two controllers and two memory cards

(I didnt purchase many exclusives because I have a friend who has like 40 GameCube games who lends me them.)

I plan on purchasing the following when they are released (in order of purchase):
- Mario Kart: Double Dash
- Soul Calibur 2
- Starwars Rouge Squadren 3: Rebel Strike
- Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
- F-Zero GX

Other games that I may purchase:

I'm 23, and have had a GameCube since it launched in 2001.  I have the following games on it: Luigi's Mansion, NBA 2K2, Eternal Darkness, Pikmin, Super Mario Sunshine, NBA Street, Beach Spikers, Resident Evil, Zelda: WW, NCAA Football, Madden 2003, SSX Tricky, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, and the bonus OOT disk.  The only upcoming GCN game that I'm psyched about is MGS: TS, though I am very curious about the new Bond: EON as well.  Not as interested in Mario Kart: DD nor in the recent SCII edition (still enjoy the original on my DC).  For what its worth, I also own a PlayStation 2 (yes, yes, I know, the machine of the dark side) -- but really, got it for the games I wanted to play.  

Right now, I'm playing Zelda: WW and Virtua Fighter 4: EVO. Both stellar in their own ways.
