My expectations would be killed if the game is a light gun game.  Hopefully thats just one aspect, section of the game or an optional first person view like the one in metal gear solid 2 which was used for aiming.

Errrm, that screen reminds me of that sad Saturn/PSone light gun game, 'Revolution X' for some reason.

Revolution X?

Isn't that the game that has some some rock organization called 'NON' kidnapping Aerosmith in order to gain world domination??
It was on the SNES!

Anyway, thay screen looks so ghey to me. So it's not a huge direct feed screen, but just the fact that it's suggesting a light gun game is a bit of a let down. If it IS just part of the game, and the rest is a cool, slick shooter, then my disappointment will be subsided.

Killer 7 has 7 different personalities, 7 different gameplay styles, i assume thats just a screenshot of part of one of them.  Famitsu describes Killer 7 as a "large action adventure" which rules out a lightgun game. Also, the lightgun thing is just speculation from that site, Famitsu says nothing of the sort on their page.

Funny looking pic, can't wait for more info from Famitsu!
I'm looking forward to this game very much.

See?  This is what happens when you expect too much from a game.  I do, however, believe the game will be good no matter what style of gameplay makes it up...

you cant really tell from that picture what kind of gameplay killer 7 will have- all i see on the screen are 2 enemies and lots of blood with some cross type thing in the middle- who knows what that is- i would venture to say that i believe the game will be a 3rd person game with the ability to go to a first person mode ala metal gear solid 2- but i could be wrong- that is just what i would think- the game looks pretty good though- hopefully more information will come out soon about this game

Maybe the character is in sniper mode? Maybe one of his personalities is blind and sees things like that...who knows. I want some in-game footage.

You know Capcom has something big planned because they are being so quiet about this game. Afterall, it is coming out in 2004, unlike the other two capcom 5 (or 4). SO they must be spending a lot of time on this jsut like rE 4.

It was on SNES?! Holy moly, how on Earth did they pull that off? I remember playing the arcade version, and it had alot of over the top 1995-ish special effects and sad FMV bad guys. Stupid bloody game.

People calm down, thats one tiny low quality screenshot, Im sure Killer 7 wont be just a lightgun game, the story elements alone seem way to exaggerated for a shooting game

this one is gonna rock, im sure, its been in development for long, and a lightgun game doesnt take 2+ years development

i dont know what the fuss is about....i think they should rename this game...it needs to be called pimp. cuz this game is seriously one of the coolest/original games i have seen. i dont think i have ever been as hyped about a game as i am for this.

Yeah didn't they say the guy had different personalities and each one had to be utilized in order to progress through the game.  I dont think you can do that if it were a light gun game, but yeah I think thats only one section of the game.

...hmmm I was kind of hoping for an adventure/action game.  I think that would suit the story and setting more.  While I love how stylized the universe looks, it doesn't strike me as very graphically impressive.  Strikes me as kind of 'Out of this world', for those of you who played the SNES classic.  I hate it when there is no information on a game, but there are screenshots.  So I'm going to wait out on judgement on this game until I can see some nice high-res screenshots, and a discription of gameplay.

yeah the game definately looks like a first person shooter right now
on www.gamecubeheaven.tk they have the new screens too- they look pretty slick, and you can see the gun on screen in some of them- it seems like the big crosses on screen are the cross hairs for the game- it probably will be toned down a little so they are regular size i would think- but we shall see- i like the look of it
